A year ago, this was just an idea.💡Now, this April, it’s happening.

Thanks to our Fellows and partners, is now reaching communities.

With Oboma Alfredolaa, an incredible yoga teacher based in the Kalobayei refugee settlement in Kenya, this vision is becoming reality—bringing joy and peace of mind to many refugees. Huge thanks to Oboma, and to Kady Aldridge at Yoga Alliance for making this connection possible.

Together with Malish James and Afri-Youth Network - AYN, we are expanding this work to , — with more to come.

In 2016, Joska Adok fled South Sudan in search of safety.
Today, she is rebuilding her life in Uganda—one stitch at a time. 🧵✨

Now living in a refugee settlement, Joska supports her family with food rations. But she also carries a powerful dream:
👉 To start a tailoring business that produces school uniforms and equips young people with practical skills.

Through training from Afri-Youth Network and Bridging Gaps, Joska gained the confidence and tools to begin. With a microloan, she can launch her tailoring project, create jobs, and strengthen her community.

This is how resilience becomes opportunity.
This is how hope takes shape.
