On Sunday 14th June at Ducketts Common, students from MTO Shahmaghsoudi London were honoured to participate in an Interfaith Community Planting initiative as part of the Haringey Multifaith Forum.

Together, alongside faith leaders of many traditions, local councillors, MPs including Catherine West and Mark Blake, as well as representatives from the Metropolitan Police and Haringey Council, we planted roses — a simple yet powerful act symbolising unity, compassion, and shared hope for our communities.
As Professor Nader Angha beautifully reminds us:
“Hope is a seed planted in fertile ground.”

Today, we came together to plant not only roses, but the seeds of harmony, understanding, and a brighter future for all 🌱

Assemblyman Hoover commended M.T.O ShahmaghsoudiⓇ for outstanding contributions across the State of California and beyond, reflecting devotion to upholding the highest ideals of community service.

The celebration entailed a luncheon with traditional aromatic Persian cuisine. Upon arrival, Assemblyman Hoover visited the displays of Sufi Art and Culture which are committed to fostering love, tranquility, and friendships.

Assemblyman Hoover was invited to try his hand at the ancient Persian art of Ayeneh-kari (mirror work). He came away with a sincere appreciation for the extraordinary skill, patience, and precision required to develop true expertise in this centuries-old craft. In commemoration of the special occasion, M.T.O. ShahmaghsoudiⓇ presented him with an Ayeneh-kari piece made by M.T.O. Sacramento.

Assemblyman Josh Hoover and his District Director attended M.T.O. ShahmaghsoudiⓇ Sacramento for a luncheon in celebration of the Member Resolution for M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi Day on February 4, 2026, in the State of California.

Assemblyman Hoover commended M.T.O ShahmaghsoudiⓇ for outstanding contributions across the State of California and beyond, reflecting devotion to upholding the highest ideals of community service.

In celebration of Eid al-Adha, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi NY/NJ volunteers collaborated with Faith Mission, a non-profit organization and food pantry, to prepare and distribute food packages for individuals and families in need throughout the community. Volunteers worked together side by side to assemble each package with care, sharing kindness, compassion, and support with people in the community.

This meaningful collaboration also reflected the beauty of interfaith unity, bringing together everyone through a shared commitment to service, love, and harmony.

MTO Zendeh Delan was recognized by the Texas House of Representatives for its contribution to cultural dialogue, unity and, music. This recognition reflects the power of the arts to bring people together across cultures and traditions through shared experiences of music, spirituality, and community.

The recognition comes ahead of Zendeh Delan’s first ever U.S. presentation of The Conference of the Birds in Dallas on May 24th.

✨ Un moment de partage à l’Hôpital Lenval de Nice ✨
À l’occasion de la Journée internationale des infirmières, nous avons eu le plaisir d’offrir des paniers garnis ainsi qu’une cafetière aux différents services de l’hôpital, en signe de gratitude pour l’engagement, la bienveillance et le dévouement quotidien des équipes soignantes.

Nous avons également célébré le Jour des Enfants, à l’occasion de l’anniversaire de Hazrat Mir Ghotbeddin Mohammad Angha, avec le don d’une mallette de jouets spécialement pensée pour les enfants présentant des troubles du spectre autistique.
Comme toujours, nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux de la part de ces équipes formidables, que nous avons le bonheur de soutenir depuis maintenant 5 ans, avec beaucoup de plaisir et de reconnaissance.

💙 Merci à l’Hôpital Lenval pour sa confiance, son humanité et son engagement auprès des enfants.

M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi NY/NJ volunteers were grateful to take part in two meaningful community events centred on care, connection, and service.

As part of Stony Brook University Student Affairs’ 2026 Student Employee, Intern, and Community Service Awards Ceremony, M.T.O. NY/NJ donated two thoughtfully prepared baskets filled with planting supplies, succulents, vegetable seeds, art supplies, and M.T.O. resources for students and faculty. One basket was presented to the Supervisor of the Year, extending a message of presence, growth, and support across the university community.

Volunteers were also invited to the annual Spring Luncheon Fundraiser hosted by North Shore Child and Family Guidance Center, an M.T.O. community partner. The luncheon raised awareness for mental health and supported essential care for children and families, ensuring that no one is turned away. M.T.O. volunteers hosted a table, shared succulents and information about M.T.O. Global and the Tamarkoz App, and connected with attendees about the benefits of the Tamarkoz method for mental, emotional, and physical well being.

We are grateful for these opportunities to support students, faculty, children, families, and the wider community through hope, care, and togetherness.

Students of M.T.O. Berkeley joined UC Berkeley’s International House Festival of Cultures, sharing the beauty of Sufi art through Khatamkari, Minakari, and calligraphy, alongside stunning architectural exhibits inspired by Islamic Sufism. Rooted in harmony and centeredness, these traditions reflect a journey from multiplicity back to inner presence.

Visitors experienced Farsi calligraphy, explored M.T.O. publications, enjoyed sweets, and learned about Tamarkoz—all in a vibrant atmosphere of connection and cultural exchange. Grateful to be part of this beautiful celebration—we can’t wait to return next year!
