According to late-2024 rental data cited by N26 from Statista, Munich remains Germany’s most expensive rental city at a massive €22.08 per square meter. Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, and Stuttgart also continue to see extremely high housing demand and rising costs.

📌 বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, বার্লিন–সংক্রান্ত কিছু পর্যবেক্ষণ

ইদানীং আলোচিত সাংবাদিক জুলকার নাইন সায়ের-এর বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, জার্মানি (বার্লিন)–সংক্রান্ত পোস্ট আমাদের নজরে এসেছে। এ বিষয়ে আমাদের কিছু পর্যবেক্ষণ তুলে ধরা প্রয়োজন মনে করছি—

🔹 প্রপ্রকাশিত ভিডিওতে দেখা যায়, লিফট থেকে সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তার পর আরও একজন ব্যক্তি বের হয়েছেন। আমরা যতদূর জানি, পরে ওয়েটিং রুম থেকে আরও একজন ব্যক্তি প্রবেশ করেন। আমাদের জানা মতে, ঐ সময়ে দূতাবাসে কর্মকর্তা ও কর্মচারীসহ মোট ৩–৪ জন ব্যক্তি উপস্থিত ছিলেন। দূতাবাসে বড় কোনো অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজনের আগে বা পরে এ ধরনের পরিস্থিতি নিয়মিতভাবেই ঘটে থাকে।

🔹 দূতাবাসের কাউকে বহিষ্কার, চাকরিচ্যুত বা নতুন নিয়োগ দেওয়ার পূর্ণ এখতিয়ার সাধারণত রাষ্ট্রদূতের হাতে থাকে। প্রথম সারির কর্মকর্তারা এ ক্ষেত্রে কেবল তাঁদের মতামত প্রদান করতে পারেন।

🔹 দুর্নীতি, অদক্ষতা ও অযোগ্যতার অভিযোগে বর্তমান দূতাবাস প্রশাসন কিছু কর্মচারীর বিরুদ্ধে কার্যকর প্রশাসনিক ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করেছে।

🔹 পদ্মা সেতু কেলেঙ্কারির সঙ্গে জড়িত, স্বৈরাচার সরকারের আস্থাভাজন এবং পরবর্তীতে পুরস্কারস্বরূপ নিয়োগপ্রাপ্ত রাষ্ট্রদূত ও তাঁদের সময়কার নিয়োগপ্রাপ্ত ব্যক্তিদের বিষয়ে সুষ্ঠু তদন্ত ও প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হলে প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিরা উপকৃত হবেন। অন্যথায় কেবল উপরের স্তরের ব্যক্তিরা পরিবর্তিত হবেন, কিন্তু দূতাবাস একই গোষ্ঠীর নিয়ন্ত্রণেই থেকে যাবে এবং প্রবাসীরা কার্যত জিম্মি অবস্থায় থাকবেন।

🔹 বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাসের স্থায়ী ভবন নির্মাণ ও টেন্ডার–সংক্রান্ত বিষয়গুলো নিয়েও তদন্ত করা হলে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য সামনে আসতে পারে।

🔹 একজন মানুষের চেহারা বা দাঁড়ির কারণে তিনি বাংলাদেশে কোনো কাঠামোগত ধর্মীয় বিদ্বেষ বা বৈষম্যের শিকার হচ্ছেন কি না, সেটিও গুরুত্বের সঙ্গে বিবেচনা করা প্রয়োজন।

🔹 আমাদের পর্যবেক্ষণে, ২০১১ সালের পর যেসব সরকার এসেছে, তাদের তুলনায় বর্তমান সময়ে নিয়োগপ্রাপ্ত রাষ্ট্রদূত ও প্রশাসন তুলনামূলকভাবে সবচেয়ে ভালো কাজ করছে।

স্বচ্ছতা, জবাবদিহিতা ও নিরপেক্ষ তদন্তই প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিদের আস্থা ফিরিয়ে আনতে পারে।
