Masorti e.V., Verein zur Förderung der jüdischen Bildung und des jüdischen Lebens, ist der international anerkannte Masorti Dachverband in Deutschland.

„Masorti“ (hebräisch: "traditionell") vertritt innerhalb der jüdischen religiösen Strömungen eine Mittelposition zwischen Reform und Orthodoxie. In den USA wird Masorti "Conservative Movement" genannt. Masorti entstand im 19. Jh in Deutschland als "positiv-historische" Schule mit Rabbiner Zecharia Fraenkel. Damals wurde erkannt, dass mündige Juden in einer modernen

Welt neue Fragen an die Tradition stellen, auf die neue Antworten gefunden werden müssen. Tora und Halacha, jüdisches Lernen und jüdisches Leben - machen dabei unsere Gegenwart zu einem lebendigen Begegnungspunkt von jüdischer Ver-
gangenheit und jüdischer Zukunft, von Tradition und Erneuerung. Masorti im deutschsprachigen Europa steht für spannende und inspirierende jüdische Erfahrungen und Lernmöglichkeiten - für jung und alt, Frau und Mann. Masorti lädt jeden Einzelnen ein, sich mit der eigenen jüdischen Tradition auseinanderzusetzen und auf dieser Basis eine Perspektive für eine jüdische Zukunft in Deutschland zu entwickeln. Masorti e.V. trägt mit Bildungsangeboten zur Vielfalt jüdischen Lebens in Deutschland bei. Dabei arbeitet der Verein mit dem Zentralrat der Juden in Deutschland und seinen Gemeinden, mit Masorti Institutionen in Europa, Israel und den USA und vielen anderen Partnern zusammen.

The Egalitarian Kotel Could Be Eliminated— Take Action Now

Legislation advancing in the Israeli Knesset would transfer authority over all prayer at the Kotel to the ultra-Orthodox Chief Rabbinate and make participating in Conservative/Masorti and Reform services punishable by up to seven years in prison. If enacted, it would effectively dismantle the Egalitarian Kotel and deny millions of Jews meaningful access— including holding our B’nai Mitzvot.

It is vital to take two immediate steps:

Persefoni wird unser internationales Team verstärken und gemeinsam mit Maria aus Israel 🇮🇱und Ian aus Portugal 🇵🇹arbeiten. Mit ihrer eigenen Energie, Kreativität und Perspektive bereichert sie unsere pädagogische Gemeinschaft.
