🎉 Big News in Tvořivá dílna IRIDA 🎉

🫂 ESC Call: Team Volunteering in Alternative Schools, Eco Farms & community based organizations

Tvořivá dílna IRIDA is a youth organization based in the Czech Republic focused on non-formal education, sustainability, well-being, and community learning. Through our European Solidarity Corps activities, we create opportunities for young people to learn through hands-on experiences, intercultural exchange, and meaningful community engagement.

For this initiative, we collaborate with several inspiring local partner organizations across the Czech Republic, especially in the Moravia region, including alternative schools and eco farms that work with sustainable living, outdoor learning, and community-based education.

🌍 We are currently looking for volunteers from Europe and beyond (including Czech participants) to join our 40-day Team Volunteering projects starting in May.

Current projects include:
• Team volunteering in alternative schools
• Team volunteering on eco farms
• Community based organizations

Each project team will include 6 volunteers, working together with local communities and learning through practical activities, cultural exchange, and reflection.

✨ As part of the European Solidarity Corps programme, the following are covered:
• Accommodation
• Food / living allowance
• Travel reimbursement
• Insurance
• Pocket money

⏳ The call is currently open.
We will start selecting volunteers on a rolling basis, prioritizing candidates who match the projects and are available for the May start (40 days).

However, we are continuously looking for volunteers. New waves of team volunteering projects are expected to start later in the year.

OPEN CALL FOR CZECH PARTICIPANTS 🇨🇿 🇪🇺

CULTURE CONNECT: SHARING STORIES, LIVING DREAMS

Are you between 18-30 and curious about identity, culture, migration and future of others and your own?

Do you want to listen to others, share your story and develop your strength alongside others?

Then join us for an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange where we bring together different young people from Spain, Portugal, Austria, France and the Czech Republic.

🌱 We’ll explore young peoples cultural identity and migration stories. We will be focusing on storytelling, dialogue and creative expression. Practice mindfulness and self reflection, talk about entrepreneurship and active citizenship, and turn our experiences into ideas and actions.

✨ We’ll create a safe space where everyone feels respected and heard. Participants will get engaged in different ice breakers, name games, they will share their fears, expectations and contributions.

Discover our own and others cultures, we will share our stories in our individual way to help build empathy between each other and build a safe space for everyone to be part of.

👾 This project is designed for young people with a migration background, those feeling “in between cultures” or anyone interested in identity, belonging & future opportunities in today's society and world. We also encourage and welcome other nationalities who are residents of the participating countries (Spain, Portugal, Austria, France and the Czech Republic).

She danced, she cried, she cried lot but with one little difference she was held.

This November, Tvořivá dílna IRIDA team members joined Na Slunci, which hosted its first training course "Youth Flow 2" at Kaprálův Mlýn, a short away from Brno. It demonstrated the importance of connection, embodiment, well-being, conscious breath, and body expression. We delved deep into 5 Rhythm and Open Floor dance, "Oxygen Advantage" functional breathing, Art Journaling, and the biggest value had the on-hands open space experience that each of 5 countries facilitated consisted of LARP, conscious touch, authentic relating, forest bathing, and tree hugging, together with meeting our inner children.

What is a teacher? I will tell you: it is not someone who teaches something but someone who inspires the students to give of their best in order to discover what they already know.

Recently, our colleague, Viktorie Šťastná took part in the training course on “Managing Resources” in youth work 🌍 She was doing job shadowing and supporting the organizing team 👩‍💻.

Through this unique role she:
🤝 learned from behind the scenes how an international training is prepared & delivered
🎓 gained insights on fundraising, budgeting & creative resource management
🌱 built her skills in co-management and involving young people in decision-making

Hello everyone,

I recently participated in the ETS Modular Training Course on Advocating and Networking, organized by Awero and co-funded by Erasmus+. It was an inspiring space to explore advocacy tools, strengthen international connections, and better understand youth work at local and global levels.

Together with fellow participants, we're organizing an online dissemination event to share key insights and materials with youth workers who couldn’t join the training. Details coming soon—stay tuned!

We continue to grow through ETS trainings, supporting stronger, more connected youth work in Czechia and beyond.
