How do you explain an International Court of Justice Advisory Opinion to someone who isn’t an international lawyer? 👀

After years of campaigning for the ICJ Advisory Opinion on climate change, World’s Youth for Climate Justice is working with organisers and illustrators, translating materials into different languages and even exploring formats like illustrated stories and children’s books.
Because understanding your climate rights shouldn’t require a law degree.

POV: Your office is anywhere with Wi-Fi. 🌍💻

As a pan-European youth network, our team is spread out across Europe, from Armenia to Portugal!

Here is a sneak peek at where some of the YEE team is working from this week.

Where are you from? Drop your flag in the comments! 👇

As part of the campaign for the ICJ Advisory Opinion on climate change, more than 25 students from universities around the world came together to write the Youth Climate Justice Handbook.

The idea was simple: if you want people to support and use a legal process, they need to understand why it matters.

So they created resources for different audiences explaining why the Advisory Opinion was needed and what it could mean for climate justice.

🎙️ Aditi Shetye from World’s Youth for Climate Justice tells us how it happened in Episode 5 of Lawfully Loud.
