Root School of American Music, Inc The Root School of American Music teaches and celebrates music and cultural artistic expressions rooted in the traditions of diverse American communities.

We offer affordable and engaging music education, focused in a collaborative format, enhanced by student performances, artist workshops and master classes led by leading music artists from around the country. Classes will include instrumental, vocal, ensemble, song writing, music composition, and later, dance instruction, since American music is closely tied to dance. All classes have a music/cult

ure history component to enrich the course material and help preserve the particular genre/art form by educating students on the historical lineage of that particular genre being explored.
