We unite Filipino’s living in Czech Republic. Together, we envision a future grounded in health, livelihood, and justice for everyday Filipinos.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the presentation of Filipino culture in the Czech Republic and to helping Filipino citizens integrate into Czech society. We serve our community by providing resources, education, and information that will empower Filipinos to make healthy, informed choices, and support one another. We believe that those most impacted by socio-economic injustices shoul

d lead in the development of long-term solutions. Using a community organizing framework, we will elevate community stories toward needs-based programs, campaigns, and advocacy. Our Pinoy Care aim is to connect community members to essential resources, while building capacity to engage with the issues we face as a community towards change. The work of the Pinoy Care aims to create a space where Filipinos can find a home amongst each other and create opportunities to connect with, and to advocate for, our motherland and fellow kababayan. The Pinoy Care aims to provide basic resources and a community gathering place accessible for Filipino workers, new migrants, and Filipinos in the diaspora seeking community, empowerment, and connection.

OWWA announces another benefit for its members! More details are available on OWWA’s official website.

The Alagang OWWA Botika officially opened on October 3 at the OWWA Center Building, F.B. Harrison St., Pasay City. This initiative brings healthcare and free medicines closer to OFWs and their families through the Alagang OWWA: Yakap at Gamot program, in partnership with PhilHealth and VidaCure.

📅 Operating Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
👩‍⚕️ Every Friday is YAKAP Day – free medical consultations from accredited doctors!

Eligible OWWA members—active, inactive, retired, or FOR-GOOD—with a PhilHealth number can claim medicines with a prescription from a YAKAP-accredited doctor.

READ: Important Announcement from the Ministry of Interior regarding the conditions for reporting a change of employment starting Oct. 1, 2025.

🇨🇿‼️Pozor, změna podmínek pro změnu zaměstnání u držitelů zaměstnanecké karty bez volného přístupu na trh práce.

👉 V souvislosti s novelou zákona se bude od 1. 10. 2025 doba na oznámení změny zaměstnavatele od ukončení předchozího zaměstnání prodlužovat z 60 na 90 dnů. Prodlužuje se tak i doba, po jejímž uplynutí a nenahlášení změny, zaměstnanecká karta zanikne.

❓Co se stane, pokud už došlo k ukončení pracovního poměru?

👉 Pokud byl pracovní poměr u předchozího zaměstnavatele ukončen před nebo ke dni 1. 8. 2025, doba na nahlášení změny zaměstnavatele je stále 60 dnů.

👉 Pokud však byl pracovní poměr u předchozího zaměstnavatele ukončen ke dni nebo po 2. 8. 2025, vztahuje se již na nahlášení změny zaměstnavatele nově stanovená doba 90 dnů.

🇬🇧‼️Attention: Change in the conditions for changing employment for holders of an Employee Card without free access to the labour market.

👉From October 1, 2025, under an amendment to the law, the period for reporting a change of employer after the termination of the previous employment will be extended from 60 to 90 days. Accordingly, the period after which the employee card is terminated if the change is not reported is also extended.

❓What happens if the employment relationship has already been terminated?

👉If the employment with the previous employer ended before or on August 1, 2025, the period to report a change of employer remains 60 days.

👉 If, however, the employment with the previous employer ended on or after August 2, 2025, the newly established 90-day period applies.
