Refugee Justice for the Armenian Women and Children of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)
The Armenian Relief Society, in collaboration with the Armenian Legal Center, will host a side event during the 63rd Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC 63) in Geneva.
More than 100,000 Armenians of Artsakh were displaced from their historical homeland in September 2023. Three years later, critical questions of human rights, justice, accountability, property restitution, cultural heritage, international protection, and the right to return remain.
This important discussion will bring together international legal and human rights experts, policymakers, and advocates to examine the rights of the displaced people of Artsakh and the international community's role in advancing durable, rights-based solutions.
