PUPDATE from our friends in The Great Sniffari pack..... they're halfway through and going great!

They've been racking up the kilometres and are all more than 50% of the way to their 42km total to beat the virtual challenge.

Last year it was our "Take the LEAD". This year it's their "Great Sniffari Challenge" for Friends Of Pegeia Dog Pound

One of our team is a volunteer taking part in this pawesome fundraiser by a local volunteer group that we love to lend a helping paw to whenever we can. That includes promotion on our page!

From the streets to 'furever' home: Help our rescue pack cross the 42km finish line 🐾🐾🏁

From May 1 to May 10, a small gang of volunteers and special rescue dogs are taking part in the – 💚 we’ve signed up for a 42km challenge across the beautiful Paphos coastline and inland trails.

🙏We’d love your sponsorship to raise vital funds as Friends of Pegeia Dog Pound continues its mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray and abandoned dogs in our local area. Every donation helps these wonderful pound dogs on their journey to furever homes 🏡

🐾 **What a difference a week makes!** 🐾

It's fun and sunshine today, whereas this time last week we experienced some heavy rain in Kathikas, which meant we all had to end the festival a few hours early.

Despite the inclement weather, we were blown away by the lovely people who visited our stall and played our Tombola and Funbola games. Even in the rain, some of you were diving under our polythene cover to hunt for your well-earned prizes! 🏆

Although we had to finish way earlier than planned, we are absolutely thrilled to share that we raised a grand total of ....

🥁 ....€326! 🥳💃❤️

This has been donated to give A Helping PAW to two very worthy causes:

🐱 Local Cat Care & TNR: Supporting the health and population control of our local feline friends.

🐶 Alex's Farm of Strays: Who is doing a great job of rescuing and rehoming local stray dogs and pups in collaboration with a network of fosters. Bravo!

Looking for some Eastertime fun that makes a real difference?

A Helping PAW is heading to the Kathikas Square Festival this coming Saturday, 4 April, and we’d love to see you there!

We’ll be ready to play from 11am until 5pm with two ways to win:

We are absolutely thrilled to announce our second fundraising total of the festive season 2025.

We have run a stall at several recent local markets, filled with luxury stocking fillers and gorgeous gifts; and the odd fun game or two as well! The sales across these markets have been combined, and we are incredibly excited and proud to have raised a grand total of €1,663!

This total has been split equally and donated to two local TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) groups doing vital work for the local stray feline community: Cynthia Smith and Mandry's Fund, and Pits TNR.

We owe this A-meow-zing result to a Community Effort! We couldn't have achieved this without the support of many wonderful people. Thank you to you all XoXo

We are absolutely thrilled to announce our second fundraising total of the festive season 2025. We’ve supported pound dogs. Now we turn to local stray cats and kitties!..... 🐈🐈‍⬛

As some of you know, we've been running a stall at several recent local markets, filled with luxury stocking fillers and gorgeous gifts; and the odd fun game or two as well! [See attached photos]
