A Helping PAW

09/09/2026

A HUGE thank you to everyone who visited the **A Helping PAW** stall at the Kathikas September Festival! 🐾❤️

Thanks to your incredible support, we raised a PAWesome **€543**!

We have rounded this up to **€550**, which means Friends Of Pegeia Dog Pound and Alex's Farm Of Strays Animal Rescue will each receive **€275** to help continue their brilliant work.

We loved seeing so many of you! A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by, made "PAWchases," and gave us feedback on our new items. Your feedback on the spritz kits was especially loud and clear—noted: add alcohol next time! 🍹😉

We're also sending out a very special thank you to our wonderful friends:

** Jane, for her ameowzing donations
** Jan for being our best customer!

** Moira, our stallholder extraordinaire, who helped us out ALL day! We couldn't have done it without you.

Even though it’s only September, we are already starting to plan for our luxury stocking filler stall for the Sapphire Christmas Market in December.

In the meantime, we will be busy running a couple of online auctions, and wrapping raffle prizes to keep helping local stray organisations dear to our hearts raise much-needed, ongoing funds.

For now, we’re off for a well-earned rest... or as much of a rest as we can get! One of us is straight back to working and volunteering with dogs (hence the delay with this final total post), while the other is back to herding many, many foster cats! 🐶🐱

Thank you all again for making the festival such a success for us! Much love, XoXo

🐾 **What a difference a week makes!** 🐾

It's fun and sunshine today, whereas this time last week we experienced some heavy rain in Kathikas, which meant we all had to end the festival a few hours early.

Despite the inclement weather, we were blown away by the lovely people who visited our stall and played our Tombola and Funbola games. Even in the rain, some of you were diving under our polythene cover to hunt for your well-earned prizes! 🏆

Although we had to finish way earlier than planned, we are absolutely thrilled to share that we raised a grand total of ....

🥁 ....€326! 🥳💃❤️

This has been donated to give A Helping PAW to two very worthy causes:

🐱 Local Cat Care & TNR: Supporting the health and population control of our local feline friends.

🐶 Alex's Farm of Strays: Who is doing a great job of rescuing and rehoming local stray dogs and pups in collaboration with a network of fosters. Bravo!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO 🙏😘
* Every single person who stopped by to support us.
* Our fellow stallholders for being wonderful, friendly neighbours and so supportive of our fundraising efforts too.

We couldn't do it without this amazing community.

Until next time...! 🐾✨ XoXo
