*Update*

Thank you everyone, the bill has now been paid!

Special thanks to Brigette, Evgenij, Dana, Ilia and Jodie for your donation towards Mr. Grey!

Mr. Grey is one of the boys from a colony I feed regularly.

He wasn’t easy to trap, but I finally managed to get him to safety.

It’s unclear what caused the damage to his eye, but it must have been incredibly painful. The eye was enlarged and under a lot of pressure. On top of that, he could barely walk—I feared his shoulder was broken, but thankfully it turned out to be a bad abscess from a cat bite.

Mr. Grey has now been neutered, and his damaged eye has been closed. In a couple of weeks, he should finally start feeling like a different cat 💔➡️❤️

If you’d like to support Mr. Grey and help cover his vet bills, any donation means the world.

Thank you for caring 🙏

Trixie & Leo 💕🐈

Last week I received a call from Milana, a tourist in Paphos. She was in tears…

A mother cat had given birth opposite her complex, and the kittens were crying non-stop.

When she went to check, she found 4 tiny babies tangled in dry grass and umbilical cords 💔

Their mum, around 8 years old, has been known in the area and is very difficult to catch for neutering.

Milana carefully untangled the kittens and placed them in a warm box, but sadly it was too late for one of them… his little back legs were badly damaged, and he didn’t survive 💔

The mum was overwhelmed and showed little interest, carrying them around one by one. We made the decision to trap her so she could nurse safely… but even then, she didn’t care for them and stopped cleaning them.

We lost another little ginger baby 💔 She was using him as a pillow instead of caring for him.

I took the remaining two to try with Katyusha… and thankfully, she accepted them 🙏

Now, these two little souls just have to keep fighting 🐾❤️

Welcome Trixie and Leo 🐾

They had a rough start, and sadly two of their siblings didn’t make it 💔

But these two little fighters are holding on strong and now have the best chance with their new wonderful mum, Katyusha ❤️

Their mum will be spayed this week and released back to the colony.

Slowly getting back to TNR (Trap–Neuter–Return) 💪

It’s been such a busy summer, with so many kittens to care for — including bottle-feeding six tiny fluffballs! 🍼💛

Trap–Neuter–Return is the key to preventing unnecessary suffering, sickness, and starvation before they even begin. Every cat spayed or neutered means fewer little ones struggling to survive on the streets.

Over the past two weeks, 12 lovely ladies and two handsome boys have been neutered. And the last three kittens — Willow, Jasmin, and Roxy — are the lucky ones! They’ve each found a loving home abroad thanks to Elisha, an amazing, animal-loving person and will soon be off to their forever homes 🙏💞

Baby Paulito, the tiniest little resident of the house, is growing up fast 💞.
Yuri, or as he is also known, “Picasso”, because whenever inspiration strikes, he leaves behind his own special little “masterpieces 🎨.”
These days, Paulito has decided he’s too grown-up for milk🍼, but he still needs plenty of napping time—curled up sweetly after a long day of tiny adventures.
Yuri takes on the role of Big Daddy to all new kittens joining the family.

My little blind darlings are finally home! ❤️
They’ve been adopted by my sister who lives in Ireland — a bit of a change in weather, but they’re loving it already! ☘️🐾
A huge thank you to everyone who donated to make this journey possible, and to Anne Parsons from Annie’s Animal Ark for organising their safe travel and personally accompanying them every step of the way. 🙏
See you soon, my boys 💞

*Update - It was advanced cancer — we had to let her go, but she’s no longer in pain now. 🌈🌈🌈

My friend asked me today to help trap a cat in quite poor condition. This unspayed female appeared out of nowhere in a colony she regularly feeds and had clearly been struggling for quite some time. We managed to get her safely just before the rain started. Tomorrow she’s off to — please keep her in your thoughts 🤍

This is what it means to be a stray — every day is a fight for survival. No cat should have to endure this 💔
