Hey Metalheads! 🤘

Throwback to our very first Metalheads Christmas Party in Paphos and what a night it was. Around 50 metalheads under one roof, sharing music, drinks and good vibes. 🎄🖤

But it wasn't just about the party. Together we raised €210 for Μικροί Ήρωες (Little Heroes), a charity supporting children fighting cancer and leukaemia. Metal with a heart. 🖤

That night showed us exactly what this community can be and it was only the start. Casual meetups, metal parties and plenty more have followed since, with much more still to come.

To everyone who came, drank, headbanged and gave: you made it what it was. Thank you and see you soon. 🙏

This one was at our admin . Good wine, good food, and hours of talking metal on the balcony under the Cyprus sky. No stage, no tickets, just people who love the same music sharing a table. This is what it's really about.

Metal night out at Argos Burger 🍔🤘

Take a look at this crew and yeah, look at the ratio. 😏 Metal's supposed to be a boys' club… clearly nobody told the women of Paphos. 🖤

One of our favourite meetup spots. Seriously good burgers, and the vegan ones? Unreal. 🌱 The crew always makes us feel at home… and this time they even put our community playlist on the speakers. Metal + burgers + our own soundtrack, doesn't get much better.

3 January 2025: our very first meetup at .rosepub.1998 . 🤘

After months of trading songs in the group chat, we finally sat down face to face. Real people, cold drinks, and hours of talking about the bands we love. This is the night Metalheads Unite Paphos became more than a WhatsApp group.

Since then we've met up all over paphos, pubs, gardens, even on each other's balconies and it just keeps getting bigger. 🖤

Before the meetups, before the parties… there was a playlist. 🎧

One of the very first things we did as a community was start a shared Spotify playlist, a place where every metalhead drops their latest discoveries and all-time favourites. A new band you can't stop playing? In it goes. That one track that never gets old? Add it.

It's been running since day one and it's still growing, a living soundtrack of this whole community. 🤘

It started with a single comment back in spring 2024. 🤘

posted that he was heading to an I Prevail show. saw it and commented: "we're going too… just in Vienna!" A few messages about the music later, one question changed everything: There must be more of us! Let's create a WhatsApp Group.

On 4 June 2024 we started a WhatsApp group. The very first thing we did? Build a shared Spotify playlist where everyone drops their latest finds and all-time favourites and it's still going strong today.

A few metalheads who found each other online… and decided to build something. This was just the spark. 🔥
