Join our virtual exhibition and help spread awareness on creative recycling! We are looking for artists to display their work on the Nicosia Street Exhibition website, which will also be promoted on the walls of Nicosia through QR codes. Any kind of art works, furniture, decorations and anything creative made from trash, sustainable or discarded materials. You can join by sending pictures of your work with different perspectives, explanation of your work, your short biography and your contact/link to [email protected] no later than November 15th, 2013. This exhibition will not only promote your creative work through the web and the streets of Nicosia, but will also connect you with other creative artists working with recycled material. The Exhibition is a Youth Ambassadors for Cross-Cultural Dialogue project which outreaches to Cyprus, Romania, and Morocco. Join our initiative and get connected to many more creative initiatives on cross-cultural dialogue! How Many Works Can I Send? Not kidding, we want to exhibit all but please tell as which one is more important to you to exhibit first. What is a QR CODE? A QR Code is a matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code), readable by QR scanners, mobile phones with a camera, and smartphones. This means the public will easily scan the codes and access the exhibition on their phones. Who will do the QR Designs and Posters? We, the Youth Ambassadors, will do it for you! Can I Sell My Work Here? Although the Exhibition won’t sell your work directly, your name, website or page can be tagged to your work, so interested buyers can contact you directly. Just send us the information you want to go under your work! Is there a fee to join the exhibition? Entering the exhibition is completely free, promoting the exhibition is enough!
