During the second day of the Nicosia Anti-Racism Festival, TAPSEU POUH was present at our stand, while also engaging with other spaces in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Throughout the day, we had the pleasure of connecting with many visitors and participants, sharing who we are, our values, and the activities we carry out within our organization.

These moments of exchange were truly meaningful, strengthening community ties and generating genuine interest in our work.

At the end of these two days, March 27th and 28th, we reflect on a rich experience filled with dialogue, learning, and human connection.
TAPSEU POUH remains committed to promoting information, inclusion, and empowerment for migrants and refugees.

A big thank you to GFCCy (Generation For Change Cy) for organizing such a meaningful event and for creating a space for expression, sharing, and celebrating diversity.

As a prelude of the Nicosia Anti-Racism Festival, organized by GFCCy (Generation For Change Cy), TAPSEU POUH brought together migrants, asylum seekers, refugees, and civil society actors for a legal information session titled:

“Know Your Rights: Legal Information for Migrants in Cyprus”

This interactive exchange, led by invited legal experts, provided a platform to address key issues related to asylum and migration procedures, including:
• The impact of reducing the appeal deadline from 30 to 20 days
• Provisions following a second rejection
• The status of children born to parents in regular and irregular situations
• Registration procedures (marriage, birth, etc.)

We express our deep gratitude to Me Cassandra and Me Joanna for the outstanding quality of their contributions. Volunteering their time, they delivered clear, accessible, and practical explanations, while addressing all the concerns raised by participants. Their insights into upcoming changes, particularly the new immigration law expected to come into force in June 2026, were highly appreciated.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Me Stephanos and Maximo for their valuable contributions and availability.
All experts contributed on a voluntary basis 😊🙏🏾

The session, also livestreamed by some participants, allowed a wider audience to follow the discussions and ask questions 😊

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting both satisfaction and a strong interest in seeing more initiatives of this kind in the near future.

At TAPSEU POUH, we remain committed to creating spaces for information, dialogue, and empowerment for our community.

Many thanks and our encouragement to Generation For Change CY for this meaningful initiative.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the women of Tap Seu Pouh chose to celebrate the day through solidarity and compassion.

They visited single mothers living in a shelter strong and courageous women who continue to fight every day for their own well-being and for the future of their children.

During the visit, they shared interactive discussions, games, and moments of exchange, creating a warm space to listen, connect, and better understand their realities.

They also brought support packages, some prepared by the women themselves and others made possible thanks to the generosity of many invisible hands who quietly contributed.

To everyone who helped make this initiative possible, thank you.

Small gestures of kindness can make a meaningful difference. 💜

Last Sunday, as part of our monthly program “Youth, Let’s Talk,” we held our first meeting: “Young People’s Reluctance to Commit.”

Through interactive discussions, participants shared challenges like ongoing stress to social, institutional and administrative rejection, job delays for newcomers, and financial insecurity.

Solutions proposed included dialogue spaces, community support, and better access to training and employment.

This session highlighted that reluctance to commit reflects real-life challenges, not a rejection of values.

Thanks to for their facilitation!

On Saturday, December 20, we had the pleasure of organizing our second Christmas charity event.

The aim of this event was to support single women and people with disabilities from migrant and refugee communities living in Cyprus, by offering them a moment of sharing and solidarity during the end of year festive season.

Throughout the day, children took part in games and activities specially designed for them. Family gatherings were also organized, followed by the distribution of symbolic gift packages, to help everyone enjoy a joyful end of the year.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to
for their generous donation, as well as to their pupil volunteers and supervisors who supported us throughout the various activities. Thank you all for your commitment; it was a truly meaningful moment.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to Cyprus, Caritas, and all the other institutions that supported and accompanied us in the organization of this event.

A special thank-you goes to all the unseen helping hands who spared no effort to ensure the success of this initiative. Your dedication played a key role in making this event a success.

We also extend our sincere thanks to the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition of Nicosia for kindly making this venue available to us.

Thanks to you, many families, children, and people with disabilities left with smiles on their faces 😊🙏🏾.

Together, we have shown that solidarity is a living force one that brings people together, offers comfort, and restores hope.

May this beautiful spirit of generosity continue and inspire further actions in support of those in need.
