Popularan po svetu, Free Art Friday, (koji ne mora da bude bash petkom!) daje umetnicima mogucnost da podele mala zadovoljstva i srecu ostvaljajuci svoja umetnichka dela po raznim mestima grada, da bi ih prolaznici pokupili i usvojili. Pravila nema, iako bi ova umetnichka dela trebalo da budu zgodna za poneti i da ne narusavaju okolinu u kojoj su ostavljena. Mogu biti u bilo kojoj formi - mnogi ostavljaju slichice na platnu ili na parchetu drveta, slike na kartonu, male skulpture... sve shto zelite da napravite, moze biti ostavljeno na ulici. Ima radova sa puno humora, sa politichkom konotacijom, sa osvrtima na drushtvene pojave... Poenta je da se ljudi zabave, da se se prikljuche, da prichaju o umetnosti, da je razmenjuju...
Fotografish*te svoj rad ostavljen na ulici, postujte fotku... ako neko pronadje neki art na ulici, fotkajte, postujte fotku ovde, i naravno, setite se umetnika! Za umetnika, ovo je shansa da svoj rad na drugaciji nachin poshalje dalje, da istrazi razlichite putanje, nevezane za novac i galerije... i zaista, oslobadjajuce je shetati okolo, ostavljajuci mala umetnichka dela... onda se pitati shta se sa njim desilo... Srecna osoba koja pronadje nechiji rad ima mogucnost da ga dobije besplatno, da ga jednostavno pokupi i odsheta dalje... Neko ce stajati pred tim i pitati se da li je ok uzeti ga i otici... koliko chesto nam se pruza prilika da tako neshto radimo ovih dana? Poenta Free Art Friday-a je da svi mogu da uzivaju u umetnosti - praveci je, deleci je, pronalazeci je... svi cemo biti srecni na kraju dana :)

Now popular around the globe, Free Art Friday (not that it has to be exclusively on a Friday!) gives artists the chance to spread a little joy and happiness by leaving artworks around their location for any member of the public to simply pick it up for free. There are no rules, although the artwork should be easy to remove and cause no damage to the surrounding area. The artwork can take any form, many leave a small painting on canvas or on found wood, paintings on cardboard are popular, small sculptures...but anything you want to create can be left out. Much of the work is humorous or can have a political edge but the joy is to get people involved, get people talking about art. Post photos of your free art out on the street...if you find some art, post a photo of it in its new home and remember to thank the artist! For the artist it is a chance to create in a different way, explore different routes away from money/galleries and it is actually quite liberating going around leaving pieces of art and then wondering what happened to it. For the lucky person who finds the piece, they have the thrill of getting some art for free, the excitement of just picking it up and walking off. Or perhaps they will stand nearby deciding if it is OK to walk off with it...how often to we get the chance to do that these days? Ultimately, it's about everyone being able to enjoy art and bringing some pleasure into peoples lives. we started because of this:
