The International Belgrade Singers is a mixed choir founded in 2012, with over 200 members having participated over the years. Today, the choir consists of approximately 60 singers, including representatives of the diplomatic corps, the international community, and choral music enthusiasts. In its 12 years of activity, the choir has performed in nearly all major concert venues in Belgrade, as well
as in cities across Serbia. The choir’s repertoire is diverse, featuring songs in various languages such as English, Norwegian, Swedish, Latin, Filipino, Portuguese, Japanese, and more. With equal enthusiasm, we perform both classical and contemporary choral compositions, arranged exclusively for our choir to bring a fresh and unique sound to each piece. Our motto is: “Let’s give back to the community we live in.” Guided by this idea, we organize concerts to raise funds for charitable purposes, always supporting children’s institutions. We take pride in our humanitarian work, having supported numerous organizations and institutions that care for children, including the Shelter for Children, the Blind Association, Dr. Dragan Hercog Elementary School, the Day Center for Children with Developmental Disabilities, the Pediatric Clinic in Sokobanjska, the Zvečanska Centers, the Drop-In Shelter for Children, the Children’s Hospital in Tiršova, the Dragan Kovačević Elementary School for Vision Protection, the Home for Children Without Parental Care "Spomenak" in Pančevo, the Music Art Project's "Music of Hope" initiative, Daycare Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities Raška and many others. Each year, we organize several charity concerts, including our traditional Christmas and Spring concerts. All proceeds are donated to carefully selected beneficiaries, reflecting our commitment to humanitarian efforts and social responsibility. We are always on the lookout for more male singers, but anyone with a love for choral singing is welcome to join, regardless of gender. If you have recommendations or would like to join us, feel free to contact us or visit one of our rehearsals.
