Today, members of our student parliament had the honor of meeting with the Nestlé team where they discussed our common goals to promote student and youth development. *Wednesday March 8th 2023* is International Women’s day for the year.

It is a day set aside to celebrate the achievements of girls and women all over the world. It is also a day to reintroduce into the public domain the problems and challenges women face along the path toward gender equity and human progress.

We appreciate the women, and indeed everyone in our Community who bring extraordinary strength and character to help promote our learning goals.

*March 8th 2023* is a reminder of the positive change women bring to society when they are educated, supported and empowered to live and work freely without harassment.

That is why you need to join us on *Wednesday March 8th, 5:30pm* on this important conversation with our chief guest speaker, Somiari Fubara.

We have been deliberate in going the extra mile to bring this international renowned figure as guest speaker. This is part of our overall agenda to promote international collaboration and expose ourselves to life-changing global opportunities while fulfilling our collective aspiration for a vibrant learning environment that we can all be proud of. It is important you join the event early to tap from the wealth of knowledge, experience, and network of Somiari Fubara CCTP, CCATP, CMHIMP. We will share her profile in our next announcement.

The event is for everyone, both male and female.

Together, we can all work harder to promote and enhance values of tolerance, respect for one another and gender equity.

Meeting with Vice Chancellor for Education Prof. Dr. Dejan Filipović and student Vice-rector Ana Grčić on behalf of the students from the program "World in Serbia & Serbia for Serbs from the Region"

The representatives of of Student Parliament from left to right
Alfons Siviano (President), Sakala John (General Secretary), Haruna Christina (Event Organizer), Joseph Benjamin (Vice President) presented the goals of the Student Parliament and the obstacles foreign students face during their studies at University of Belgrade

The achieved communication will contribute to joint cooperation and solving issues that are important for about 500 students from 51 countries of the world.

Sastanak sa prorektorom za prosvetu prof. dr Dejanom Filipovićem i studentom prorektorkom Anom Grčić u ime studenata programa „Svet u Srbiji i Srbija za Srbe iz regiona“

Predstavnici Studentskog parlamenta s leva na desno Alfons Sivijano (predsednik), Sakala Džon (generalni sekretar), Haruna Kristina (organizator događaja), Džozef Benjamin (potpredsednik) predstavili su ciljeve Studentskog parlamenta i prepreke sa kojima se strani studenti suočavaju tokom studija na Univerzitetu u Beogradu.

Ostvarena komunikacija doprineće zajedničkoj saradnji i rešavanju pitanja od značaja za oko 500 studenata iz 51 zemlje sveta.
