TRANSFORMA works with women, children and immigrants living in extreme/ultra poverty in Costa Rica. Most of our participants are afflicted by social/job exclusion, unemployment, low education, violence, insecurity, lack of decent housing, family disintegration, early motherhood and more. To prevent sexual/ domestic violence and human trafficking is a very important goal for our programs. Our Human
development, leadership and neuro management programs, are both based on biblical and scientific approaches. We provide entrepreneurial, bussines and leadership education. As well as soft and technical skill development (sewing, hair styling, makeup, manicure/pedicure, jewelry, cooking, English, among others). We make materials and equipment available so women can produce their items and services; sell them for their own saving plans so they can purchase their own equipment, materials and spendable. Our Social Leadership Lab has trained over 1500 national and international social impact leaders since 2014. Our organization provides spiritual and emotional support throughout the programs and processes. TRANSFORMA is sustained thanks to the generosity and love of individuals, families, churches and corporations that help with financial and other donations.
