Qué importante es que los niños y niñas conozcan la historia, las tradiciones y la cultura del lugar donde nacieron o donde viven. Estos espacios también son parte de su aprendizaje y de la construcción de su identidad.

It’s so important for children to learn about the history, traditions, and culture of the place where they were born or where they live. These experiences are an important part of learning and help children develop a strong sense of identity.

🇨🇷 ¡Se acerca el 15 de setiembre!
Gracias al trabajo conjunto entre Abriendo Mentes, Hotel Parti Gras Potrero, Panache Sailing y la Escuela de Potrero, desde mayo los niños y niñas cuentan con el profesor Dennis de música que les acompaña en su preparación para formar parte de la Banda Escolar.

Hoy compartimos algunos momentos de sus ensayos. 🎶

¡Nos vemos en los desfiles para celebrar nuestras tradiciones y disfrutar de su música!

🇨🇷 September 15th is just around the corner!
Through the collaboration between Abriendo Mentes, Hotel Parti Gras, Panache Sailing and Potrero Elementary School, the children have had the music teacher Dennis, since May to support them as they prepare to join the school band.

Celebramos el Día de los Niños con mucho cariño, una tarde de película y mucha energía. 🍿

Un momento especial para simplemente disfrutar, divertirse y ser niños.

🇨🇷Un evento que también deja raíces. 🌳🌳
Gracias a XTERRA por incorporar un músculo ambiental a este evento y por crear un espacio donde el deporte también se conecta con el compromiso por nuestro entorno.

A Agroforestales de Las Catalinas, excepcionales anfitriones, quienes con su experiencia abrieron las puertas del bosque, prepararon el espacio para vivir esta experiencia y poner las manos en la tierra.

La actividad contó también con el acompañamiento de nuestras apreciadas invitadas Stephanie y Karo, facilitadoras de la Brigada Ambiental “En sus Manos”.

Cada árbol que sembramos es una acción que permanece. 💚

Thank you to XTERRA for bringing a strong environmental focus to this event and creating a space where sport can also connect with meaningful action for our environment.

And to Agroforestales de Las Catalinas, exceptional hosts who opened their doors and shared their expertise in forest conservation and management, making this experience even more meaningful.

We were also joined by Stephanie and Karo, facilitators from “En Sus Manos” Environmental Brigade.

Because every tree we plant is an action that lasts. 💚
