🇨🇷🕊️ En honor a la vida de Hazel 🕊️
Hay personas cuya presencia trasciende el tiempo y permanece en la memoria de quienes tuvieron la dicha de compartir con ellas.

Hazel fue una de esas personas. Su labor en la ASADA formó parte importante de su compromiso con la comunidad, y también compartimos con ella diferentes actividades a través de Abriendo Mentes, donde pudimos ser testigos de su entrega, su disposición y su cariño por lo que hacía.

Su vida fue parte de la historia de Potrero. Su trabajo, su presencia y la manera en que se entregó a los demás dejaron una huella que permanecerá en quienes la conocimos.

Desde Abriendo Mentes, honramos su memoria y expresamos nuestro más sentido pésame a su familia, seres queridos y a todas las personas que tuvieron la oportunidad de compartir su camino.

Some people leave a lasting mark on the lives of those who are fortunate enough to have known them.

Hazel was one of those people. Her work with the ASADA was an important part of her commitment to the community. Through Abriendo Mentes, we also had the privilege of sharing different activities with her, where we witnessed her dedication, willingness to help, and genuine care for the work she did.

Hazel was an important part of Potrero’s story. Her work, her presence, and the way she gave of herself to others left a lasting impression on all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

At Abriendo Mentes, we honor her memory and extend our deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.

Lucas joined us from Wittenberg University through Beyond Sports and was part of an experience filled with learning, shared moments, and memories that will stay with us.

🇨🇷⚽ APOYEMOS EL TALENTO JOVEN DE POTRERO, SANTA CRUZ, GUANACASTE!
Desde Abriendo Mentes con Orgullo queremos compartir la historia de dos jóvenes talentos guanacastecos: Jared Rodríguez Moraga, de 12 años, y Khaled Pérez Moraga, de 13 años.

Jared y Khaled son jóvenes futbolistas que, con disciplina, esfuerzo y pasión por el deporte, han venido construyendo una trayectoria que ya los ha llevado a representar a Guanacaste y a Costa Rica en importantes torneos internacionales.

Han participado en competencias como la Copa Patrick en Panamá y el Torneo Internacional Unión Centroamericana en Guatemala, y ahora tienen una nueva meta: viajar a Argentina este mes de setiembre para participar en un nuevo torneo internacional. 🇦🇷⚽

💙 Hoy queremos ayudar a que ese sueño pueda hacerse realidad.

🇺🇸⚽ LET’S SUPPORT THE YOUNG TALENT OF POTRERO, SANTA CRUZ, GUANACASTE!

At Abriendo Mentes, we’re proud to share the story of two young talents from Guanacaste: Jared Rodríguez Moraga, 12, and Khaled Pérez Moraga, 13.

Jared and Khaled are young soccer players who, through discipline, hard work, and a passion for the sport, have been building a journey that has already taken them to represent Guanacaste and Costa Rica in important international tournaments.

They have participated in tournaments such as the Copa Patrick in Panama and the International Unión Centroamericana Tournament in Guatemala, and now they have a new goal: traveling to Argentina this September to compete in another international tournament. 🇦🇷⚽

💙 Today, we want to help make that dream a reality.

🇨🇷🌷🩷 🎊Comenzamos la celebración de nuestro 17.º aniversario junto a maravillosas mujeres de Potrero.
En un espacio lleno de gratitud, compartieron lo que Abriendo Mentes significa para ellas:

💚 “Es mi segundo hogar.”
💚 “Es un abrazo para la comunidad.”
💚 “Es aprendizaje.”
💚 “Es alegría, amor, amistad y familia.”…

Sus palabras nos recuerdan por qué hacemos lo que hacemos cada día.
Además, nos acompañaron nuestros increíbles voluntarios, quienes hicieron este momento aún más especial.



🇺🇸🌷🩷 We kicked off our 17th anniversary celebration with wonderful women of Potrero.
In a heartfelt gathering, they shared what Abriendo Mentes means to them:

Their words remind us why we do what we do every single day.
