ＤΛＭΛＧ| 𝗨𝗰𝗼𝗹 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺 𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, LA UNION — A new chapter of service and youth leadership unfolds as Jimz Ucol, the Sangbayan Vice President - Internal, formally took his oath as Provincial Youth Administrator during the La Union Youth Convention 2026 yesterday, August 21.

The ceremony brought together young leaders and advocates, where they create a space to recognize the growing role of young people in leadership and public service. Surrounded by fellow youth leaders and advocates from across the province, Ucol stepped into the role with renewed commitment to youth participation, and help shape a more inclusive future for the youth of La Union.

His election reflects the growing presence of young leaders in public service, continuing call for more young leaders to step forward—not only as participants in society, but as active partners in building its future.

Sangbayanis proudly celebrate this milestone and extend its ‘𝘱𝘢𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘸’ to VPI Jimz Ucol as he begins this new chapter of service for the Youth of La Union.

SAN FERNANDO CITY, LA UNION — took center stage at the Speaker Pro-Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center on August 21, 2026, joining fellow youth leaders across the province for the 𝗟𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

As one of the recognized finalists for the province’s Best Youth Organization Projects, Sangbayan set up an interactive pop-up booth highlighting its flagship initiative, the 𝗧𝗔𝗬𝗢 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Presenters Arvie Drie Andrada, Bhenzane Kurvy Supsup, and Kate Ashley Rulla led the organization's representation, introducing the multi-faceted initiative that integrates environmental stewardship, health, and capacity-building through its Mountain-to-Coast Cleanup, community wellness activities, and youth education drives.

Sangbayan's active participation at the provincial gathering provided a vital platform to amplify its core mission of driving active civic participation and building strong multi-sectoral partnerships. By demonstrating how localized, youth-led programs can bridge ecological conservation with grassroots development, the team engaged with fellow delegates, local government representatives, and community stakeholders.

Sangbayanis presence reinforced the essential role young leaders play in building sustainable, collaborative solutions for communities across La Union.
