PROMOTING UNITY WITH A SENSE OF EMPATHY AND SHARED EXPERIENCES.
The Liberian community in Shaanxi Province Xi’an city on Friday celebrated the memorable day of “KWIBUKA” with the Rwandan Scholars in Xi’an.
KWIBUKA is a memorable day set aside by Rwanda in commemorating the genocide that took place in Rwanda taking the lives of over one million people in ninty days.
During the event, we learned the root cause of this terrible massacre and how this can be a lesson to every African. As victims of war also, we share deep sympathy with our Rwandan brothers and sisters as we they continue to celebrate KWIBUKA until the weekend.
The Liberian scholars in Shaanxi Province China continue to foster unity, and collaboration with all Africans and promote African unity and scholarly cooperation for continental collaboration, peace and development.
