【为什么在广东“冬至大过年”？】
在广东，有句耳熟能详的谚语，叫“冬至大过年”，意思是说冬至比春节还重要。据说由于广东的气候原因，在农耕时代，百姓过春节的时候是耕种季节，每到春节都要下田干活；但冬至却恰恰相反，这天是不用下田的，且家家户户都要买肉庆贺。不干活还有肉吃，岂不快哉？在冬至，广东有吃汤圆的习俗，意味着“团圆”“圆满”，广东民间还有“吃了汤圆大一岁”之说。除了汤圆，冬至这天，在广东还能吃到美味的腊味糯米饭，还有佛山松糕、东莞萝卜粄和焖鹅、惠州艾角、潮汕冬至茧、湛江姜饭、茂名菜包籺、韶关糍粑等。今日冬至，对于老广们来说，天大的事情也不及赶回家吃一顿团圆饭，“一家人就要整整齐齐”！
There is a saying in Guangdong that "Winter Solstice above all", emphasizing the importance of Winter Solstice over Spring Festival. It is believed that in the agrarian age, farmers were spared from farming on the Winter Solstice and free to gather, celebrate, and feast. There is the custom to eat sweet dumplings in Guangdong on the Winter Solstice, aspiring family reunion and happiness.

province, an economic powerhouse in China, aims to develop itself into a national innovation-driven area for the general artificial intelligence industry by 2025, according to an implementation plan for accelerating the development of the industry.
Specifically, the number of AI enterprises in Guangdong will exceed 2,000 by 2025, with the core AI industry's value surpassing 300 billion yuan ($41 billion), according to the plan.
The province will establish a national hub for intelligent computing power, a special zone in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and a national demonstration center for AI scenario application. These initiatives will help form a favorable development pattern of interconnected computing power, open-source algorithms, integrated data, and wider applications of AI technology.
The implementation of these AI development measures aims to help Guangdong to achieve the largest scale of intelligent computing power in the country and lead the global AI industry by 2025.
