To every Cameroonian in the diaspora… Cameroon needs more than your remittances. It needs your voice, your values, and your influence.

Every post you share, every message you amplify, and every behaviour you encourage shapes the mindset of those back home. Together, we can inspire integrity, unity, responsibility, and a new generation of nation builders.

Whether you’re part of a village association, a professional network, a cultural group, or you’re simply a proud Cameroonian, join the movement.

Follow AIOCAM. Share this message. Let’s change mindsets and build the Cameroon we all want to see.

Because the future of Cameroon is everyone’s responsibility. 🇨🇲

Children should never become weapons in conflicts between adults.

Whether you are married, separated, or divorced, your child deserves the freedom to love both parents without guilt, manipulation, or pressure to choose sides.

When we use children to punish one another, it is often the children who carry the deepest emotional scars.

Protect their childhood. Protect their peace. Let children be children, not messengers, judges, or bargaining tools.

The greatest gift separated parents can give their children is the freedom to love both parents.

Who is really responsible for the content taking over our social media?

Is it the content creator… or the millions of us who keep liking, sharing, commenting, and making that content go viral?

The truth is, influence is not created overnight. It is built by people. Every view, every like, every repost, and every comment gives a creator more visibility and more influence. When we consistently reward content built on insults, humiliation, misinformation, unhealthy lifestyles, and unnecessary drama, we encourage more people to produce the same.

Then we turn around and complain that social media is destroying our values.

The content we consume today shapes the mindset of tomorrow’s generation. Young people are watching. Children are watching. They are learning what society celebrates.

This is not about attacking content creators. They respond to demand. If we demand better content, support creators who educate, inspire, and add value, social media will gradually reflect those choices.

Remember, every click is a choice. Every share is a recommendation. Every like is a vote for the kind of society we are helping to build.

Let’s become more intentional about what we make popular.

Many of us call them “house helps,” but before they became house helps, they were children with dreams, hopes, and ambitions.

Some are orphans. Some come from struggling families. Some are relatives brought from villages in search of a better future. Life simply did not give them the same opportunities that many of us had.

Yes, they help us clean, cook, wash, and care for our homes. But they are not machines. They are human beings.

Treat them with respect.
Give them enough rest.
Feed them well.
Protect them from abuse.
Encourage their education.
Speak to them with dignity.

The way we treat the most vulnerable among us says a lot about who we are as a society.

A house help should never be treated like a slave. They deserve kindness, fairness, and the opportunity to build a better future for themselves.

Let us remember: if circumstances were different, that house help could have been your brother, your sister, or even your own child.

Compassion costs nothing, but it can change a life forever.

Cameroon’s greatest threat may not be corruption. It may not be insecurity. It may not even be poverty.

It may be distraction.

Every day, we are bombarded with scandals, outrage, arguments, and an endless stream of noise. We react. We complain. We share our frustrations. Then we move on to the next trending topic. Meanwhile, the issues that truly shape our communities remain untouched, unresolved, and forgotten.

Our attention burns bright—but only for a moment.

A crisis erupts. Everyone is talking. Anger spreads. Demands are made. Then another controversy arrives, and the first one disappears from the conversation. The outrage fades. The questions stop. The pressure vanishes. And the cycle begins again.

Over and over.

We chase every headline while the problems that matter most continue to grow in the shadows.

Watch this and ask yourself one question:

Am I part of the solution or part of the problem?

On Friday, 29 May 2026, AIOCAM had the privilege of serving as a jury member at Africa Science Week, organized in collaboration with AIMS (the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences). Representing AIOCAM was Barrister Che Clarisse, Head of Legal Affairs, who participated in evaluating innovative solutions developed to address Child Safety, Community Protection, and Sustainable Development challenges across Africa.

The event brought together eight outstanding teams of young innovators who presented technology-driven and community-focused prototypes designed to tackle pressing social and developmental issues. The quality, creativity, and potential impact of the projects demonstrated the vital role of youth-led innovation in shaping safer and more sustainable communities.

Following a rigorous evaluation process, the top three teams were recognized for their exceptional contributions:

• 1st Prize: 1,000,000 FCFA
• 2nd Prize: 600,000 FCFA
• 3rd Prize: 400,000 FCFA

AIOCAM is proud and privileged to be part of such initiatives that empower young innovators to develop practical solutions for Africa’s most pressing challenges. The event served as a powerful reminder that collaboration, innovation, and community engagement remain essential drivers of sustainable development and social impact across the continent.

Throwing waste on the streets, in gutters, empty plots, or road corners does not make the waste disappear, it only destroys our environment and affects our health. Every plastic bottle, food wrapper, or bag of dirt thrown carelessly contributes to blocked drainage systems, flooding, pollution, and the spread of diseases in our communities.

Your waste is your responsibility. Properly package and keep your waste until it is handed over to authorized waste collection services for safe disposal. Clean surroundings are not only the responsibility of the government or waste management companies, they are the responsibility of every citizen.

Thanks to a very patriotic Cameroonian for the amazing work he’s carrying out with his team of very dynamic youths. It is our responsibility, it’s our country and our neighborhood.

Let us stop illegal waste disposal and build cleaner, healthier, and safer communities together. The change starts with you. ♻️🇨🇲

Join the movement. Keep Cameroon clean.
