🔐 Digital Safety is a Human Right — Not a Luxury.

In today’s world, gender-based violence doesn’t only happen in physical spaces — it happens online too.
From cyberbullying to revenge p**n, online stalking to hate speech, thousands of women and girls are targeted every day simply for using their voices.

Digital GBV is real. It harms. It silences. It follows victims offline.

But we can fight back with "digital safety"

✅ Use strong passwords and privacy settings
✅ Don’t overshare sensitive info online
✅ Report and block abusers
✅ Support friends who are harassed online
✅ Speak out against online violence, even in private group chats

Everyone deserves to be "safe online", just as they deserve to be safe offline.
Let’s create digital spaces that protect, not punish
That uplift, not destroy.

It started with a comment. Then came the threats.
Sandra was just trying to speak up.

She had shared a post online about women’s rights and consent — something simple, something true. But within hours, her inbox was flooded.
“You should be silenced.”
“You think you're smart?”
“Wait till we find you.”

Strangers mocked her appearance, her voice, her opinions. Some even sent edited images of her, turning her into a meme. She deleted the post. Then her account. Then she stopped showing up to class. She didn’t feel safe — not online, not offline.

This is "digital violence"
This is "gender-based violence".
And it doesn’t just happen to celebrities. It happens to girls in school. Women at work. Anyone who dares to speak up.

As we join the world in marking the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, we stand against the rise of online abuse, cyberbullying, threats, doxxing, trolling, and digital stalking — all used to shame, silence, and scare women and girls into submission.

This year’s theme, “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls,” calls on all of us to take action:

🔸 Don’t scroll past abuse — report it.
🔸 Create safe online spaces — respect others’ voices.
🔸 Support survivors — believe them, uplift them.
🔸 Learn digital self-defense — and help others stay safe.

To every Sandra out there: you deserve to be heard without fear.

Let’s turn the internet into a tool for empowerment — not oppression.

The EnowAgbor Foundation (EAF) commemorated World AIDS Day 2025 at Faith Comprehensive High School, Obili–Yaoundé, with a youth-focused sensitisation campaign under the theme “Overcoming Disruption, Transforming The AIDS Response.” Led by Mrs Enow Petra, the session aimed to educate students on HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, and stigma reduction. Through presentations by health professionals, the program covered the meaning of HIV/AIDS, its stages, symptoms, transmission routes, and effective prevention methods such as abstinence, proper condom use, sterilisation of sharps, PrEP/PEP, and regular testing. Students were encouraged to understand HIV as a manageable condition and were guided on positive living through adherence to treatment, psychological support, and peer engagement. Strong emphasis was placed on rejecting stigma and showing empathy toward people living with HIV. The event concluded successfully, empowering young people with accurate information and reinforcing EAF’s commitment to health education and the global mission to by 2030.

What a wonderful experience it was for the EnowAgbor Foundation to partner with the Gifted Hands and Healing Voices for a meaningful outreach visit to the “Divine Touch Orphanage” in the North West Region.

This outreach was done Under the theme my , my and we created a joyful space where children could paint, draw, and freely express their emotions.

It was exciting to connect with children of special needs, celebrating their , listening to their stories, and appreciating their unique abilities.

This experience strengthened our commitment to supporting vulnerable children and nurturing their potential.

We invite individuals, organisations, and well-wishers to support our mission through donations, partnerships, volunteering, or sharing our work.

The Enowagbor Foundation had the great joy of bringing smiles to underprivileged students and internally displaced persons (IDPs) at Star Modern College of Technology (STARMOTEC) in Tiko Sub-Division, South West Region. By providing drawing boards, we not only supported their academic growth but also empowered their creativity and nurtured the talents that will shape tomorrow’s innovators. We extend our sincere appreciation to the school administration for their openness and for granting us the opportunity to carry out this initiative. Moments like these remind us that small acts of support can ignite big dreams, and the Enowagbor Foundation remains committed to investing in the potential of vulnerable young learners across our communities.

In line with our commitment to creating a more environmentally friendly and sustainable future, the EnowAgbor Foundation recently distributed a variety of fruit trees, including plum, mandarin and coconut trees, to residents of the Nyom and Nsimeyong neighbourhoods in Yaoundé.

Community members received the trees enthusiastically and took part in a collective planting exercise, reaffirming their dedication to protecting and preserving the environment.🌱🌳

Empowering women through tailoring skills.

As part of our Economic Empowerment Program, the EnowAgbor Foundation recently organised a tailoring training session for women.

The initiative aims to equip participants with the practical skills needed to generate income and improve their livelihoods.
