A quick note from the Cameroon Youth Awards 🇨🇲

First, a huge thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination, applied, shared their story, or supported someone through the process. We received an incredible pool of young Cameroonians doing meaningful work across the country.

Our 100 shortlisted names have now been reviewed by the Jury and the process of selecting the final 35 honorees is currently being completed through our final validation and due-diligence process.

Please note that being selected as a winner by the Cameroon Youth Awards does not constitute or imply an endorsement by the U.S. Embassy or any of our partners. The Awards selection is an independent process led by the Cameroon Youth Awards.

The official list of 35 honorees will be announced once the process is complete.

Thank you for your patience, trust and, most importantly, for the work you continue to do for Cameroon. ❤️🇨🇲

Every year, the Cameroon Youth Awards team has the privilege of reviewing the stories of some of Cameroon’s brightest young leaders.

Nominations are now open for the 2026 35 Under 35 Youth Awards, an initiative of the Cameroon Youth Awards, organized with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé.

If you’re creating solutions, serving your community, innovating, or leading with impact, don’t wait for someone else to nominate you, self-nominate.

As you apply, remember that your supporting materials matter. Photos, videos, media coverage, project links, testimonials, and publications help our judges see the full extent of your impact. Don’t just tell your story show it.
