www.internet.cm provide a multi-stakeholder forum for the exchange of views, skills and experiences on open development and use of the Internet in Cameroon;
2. promote best practices on the Internet, security, protection of privacy, protection of Human Rights, the fight against cybercrime;
3. advise interested parties on important Internet-r

elated issues – in particular, regarding implications of the policy work of governmental and intergovernmental bodies on Information and Communications Technologies;
4. promote and participate in initiatives for the education and capacity building of various sectors of society, including educational institutions, public and private organizations, in all facets of the Internet, and to mobilize resources and public opinion in support of such initiatives;
5. encourage and promote regulatory environments and policies that promote access, freedom of expression and diversity on the Internet;
6. support and promote all initiatives to reduce Internet access cost (establishment of Internet Exchange Point, new services…), fight against digital divide and cybercrime in all forms and facets;
7. build the capacity of Cameroonians on Internet Governance and to encourage Cameroon's participation in regional and global Internet Governance Institutions and events;
8. promote good management of Internet’s critical resources (IP addresses, the transition from IPv4 to IPv6, root servers, domain names…);
9. promote and support development of local contents and multilingualism on the Internet;
10. promote contacts and exchanges between members of the Chapter and with all members and Chapters of the Internet Society Worldwide.
