Welcome to story nr. 40 - our series spotlighting women driving and .

This week, we rise with Eliana Barco, whose journey from chemist to technical director is redefining quality and leadership in Colombia. 🔬

Through the Global Quality and Standards Programme (GQSP) Colombia, funded by Switzerland through SECO and the Colombian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism, and implemented by in collaboration with Colombia Productiva, Eliana gained the skills and confidence to lead her laboratory toward ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation.

What began as uncertainty became a path of growth: strengthened technical capacities, recognition from the national accreditation body ONAC, and a stronger role for the laboratory in the region. Today, Eliana leads with knowledge, resilience, and purpose - inspiring others to discover their own potential. 🌍
