St. Louis University Institute Launches Large-Scale Agricultural Job Initiative for Graduates
Dr. Nick Ngwanyam, Proprietor of St Louis Clinic and University Institute
Renowned Cameroonian surgeon, social reform advocate, and founder of St. Louis Clinic and University Institute, Dr. Nick Ngwanyam, has announced practical employment opportunities for Bachelor of Science graduates in agriculture. The initiative aims to promote productive agriculture, strengthen food systems, and create meaningful employment for skilled young professionals.
The institute is seeking qualified agricultural graduates with proven practical skills in areas such as crop production, animal production, food transformation and packaging, and marketing and sales of agricultural products. The recruitment drive emphasizes practical competence and productivity rather than theoretical knowledge alone.
The agricultural project will be implemented on farmland in Tiko, where mechanized farming techniques will be applied to cultivate crops on a large scale. The objective is to increase food production while reducing costs, ensuring affordable agricultural products for the public.
The initiative will include livestock and poultry activities, as well as innovative environmental and agricultural technologies such as organic fertilizer production and black soldier fly larvae cultivation. The institute will also develop systems for biogas production and green electricity generation.
Value addition through transformation units will produce sunflower oil, soap, and other household products. Food transformation will focus on industrial-scale production and packaging of gari, biscuits, and cassava flour.
Selected candidates will participate in production activities and contribute to student training. Accommodation will be provided within the farm premises, and a three-month trial period will assess practical abilities.
Dr. Ngwanyam's vision is to create a model agricultural project that generates employment and contributes to Cameroon's development. The institute welcomes constructive proposals and partnerships to advance agricultural development.
Interested candidates should submit application documents, including curriculum vitae and identification photograph, through WhatsApp 677764674 or Website (link unavailable), highlighting areas of expertise and demonstrable skills 😊.
