*International Women’s Day 2026*
International Women’s Day is more than a celebration, it is a reminder of the struggles women continue to face every day. *At HUMFRIEH, we believe this day is not only for feasting, but for speaking out loud, standing together, and breaking the silence around the realities women endure.*
In commemoration of the 8th of March, HUMFRIEH organised a powerful talk with women in it’s community, a space to reflect, to share, and to confront the issues that threaten women’s lives and freedoms.
Under the theme: *“Justice, Safety, Dignity: Confronting Domestic Violence and Femicide”*
HUMFRIEH stood alongside women and girls to:
- Expose the hidden realities of domestic violence
- Challenge the rising threat of femicide
- Strengthen solidarity and collective action
- Affirm every woman’s right to live free from fear
- Honour survivors and remember those we have lost their lives, trust and dignity.
This gathering was not just a talk, it was a movement of courage, a moment of truth, and a call for every woman to know: *your life matters, your voice matters, your dignity is non‑negotiable.*
HUMFRIEH speaks out loud and we speak out with it’s community, because silence protects the perpetrators, but voices raised together protect women.
