In a powerful fusion of sports, community development, and youth empowerment, the 11th Edition of the “𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘇 𝗡𝗴𝗲𝗸𝗮 𝗘𝘁𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗲” is officially set to kick off this summer.

Scheduled for 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the highly anticipated annual football tournament will take place at the 𝗖𝗕𝗖 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲.

Under this year’s theme, "Promoting Peace and Education Through Sports," the tournament seeks to use the beautiful game as a vehicle for social cohesion, academic encouragement, and positive youth engagement.

This year's edition raises the stakes significantly, offering an impressive total prize package worth 𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬) 𝗙𝗖𝗙𝗔distributed to maximize community impact:

- Cash Prizes: Totalling 3,000,000 frs for top performers.
- Academic Scholarships: Worth 2,000,000 frs, directly supporting the educational advancement of local youth in line with the tournament's core theme.

Reflecting its deep roots in educational and social advancement, the event boasts a strong lineup of co-sponsors. Key partners include:

With registrations now officially open, teams are encouraged to sign up and participate in what promises to be two months of thrilling football action and community celebration.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀, 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝟲𝟳𝟱 𝟱𝟵 𝟵𝟭 𝟴𝟰.

Rolling in the mud upon arrival at the Mutengene Police Training College marked the symbolic end to civilian life for more than 500 new police inspector trainees.

They arrived at the training institution on June 16 and were welcomed by the college commander, Dr. Pierre Nith.

For the next two years, they will part ways with their old selves and embrace a new life of discipline and combat readiness in service to the nation.

They were asked to set aside certain personal items that could distract them from the training, with trainers emphasising adherence to strict discipline.

Dr. Nith acknowledged that the trainees would endure numerous challenges designed to build their physical, mental, and academic abilities.

The training will also immerse them in republican and civic values, with specialised instruction on anti-corruption.

The inspectors were recruited through a public competitive exam and will be joined by more than 1,000 peacekeepers.
