"Today marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, focusing on a pressing issue: 'UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls.' The rise of digital platforms has unfortunately coincided with an increase in online abuse, impacting women and girls globally.
Addressing digital violence requires a multi-faceted approach – from enhancing legal frameworks and improving platform accountability to educating users on digital literacy and promoting bystander intervention. My latest video highlights the urgency of this theme. How can your organization contribute to creating safer digital spaces? Let's discuss and collaborate.

World Mental Health Day: Prioritize Your Peace 💚
Today, we pause to observe World Mental Health Day, a powerful reminder that there is no health without mental health.
Your mental well-being is not a luxury; it is a universal human right. Yet, millions face their battles in silence. Today, let’s be the generation that changes that narrative.
A Message of Hope and Action
* Hope: Remember that healing is a journey, not a straight line. It is always okay not to be okay. Your struggles do not define you, and you are far stronger than you realize. Every small step toward self-care, every moment of stillness, and every choice to be kind to yourself is a victory.
* Action: We can all play a part in shattering the stigma.
* Prioritize your peace: Take that break, set that boundary, and remember that self-care is necessary, not selfish.
* Be the anchor: Reach out to a friend, colleague, or loved one. Listen without judgment. Sometimes, one conversation is all it takes to change a life.
* Seek Support: There is strength in seeking help. Whether it’s talking to a friend or connecting with a professional, your journey toward a healthy mind is worth fighting for.
Let’s move beyond awareness into action to build a world where compassion and support are the norm.

You are not alone. You matter, today and every day.

**🌟 On Su***de Prevention Day: A Reminder of Hope and Healing 🌟**

Today, we remember the lives lost to su***de and honor the strength of those who have survived. It’s a day to reflect, to listen, and to stand with those who are struggling.

Su***de is never the result of a single moment it’s often a long journey of pain, isolation, and hopelessness. But in every story of loss, there is also a story of resilience, of love, and of the power of human connection.

“The most beautiful thing we can experience is mystery. It is the source of all true art and science.”
— Albert Einstein

“You are not alone. There are people who care, who listen, and who want to help.”

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. There are resources, support systems, and people who are here for you.

Let’s continue to break the silence, to share the truth, and to build a world where no one feels alone.

The children's conference was a success... they learned about GBV, self-esteem, and peer pressure...
The questions that some of these children asked were heartbreaking... as innocent as you see them they harbor so much pain and frustration in their daily lives... we need to pay so much attention to our kids... our younger ones... and protect them ... the highest forms of child abuse is NEGLECT... So many families think sending children to school and have something to eat is all that matters... NO... Children need emotional, mental and physical support.... create safe spaces where they can open up and express themselves, they are dealing with so much abuse esp sexual from close and trusted persons ..... put your eyes on your children.

As a single mother, you are a true inspiration. Your strength, resilience, and wit are a testament to the incredible challenges you face every day. But it's important to remember that you don't have to do it all alone. There are people and resources out there to help you along the way.

One of the best ways to find support is to join a support group. These groups provide a safe and welcoming space for single mothers to share their experiences, offer advice, and connect with others who understand what you're going through.

Another great resource is the mental health support and paint program organized by the Sparks of Change Initiative. This free event is designed to provide support, share stories, and offer insights on parenting and relationships as a single mom. The program combines mental health support with the therapeutic benefits of painting, creating a unique and empowering experience.

By participating in these types of programs, you can gain valuable insights and support that can help you navigate the challenges of single motherhood. Remember, it's okay to ask for help and to take time for yourself.
You deserve it.

Talking to Children About Child Abuse
Why Talk About Child Abuse?
1. Prevention: Educating children about appropriate boundaries and body safety can help prevent abuse.
2. Empowerment: Teaching children about their rights and how to seek help empowers them to take action if they experience abuse.
3. Support: Open conversations about child abuse can help children feel comfortable coming forward if they have experienced abuse.

Tips for Talking to Children About Child Abuse
1. Use age-appropriate language: Adapt your conversation to the child's age and developmental level.
2. Focus on safety and boundaries: Teach children about appropriate boundaries, body safety, and how to say "no" to unwanted touch.
3. Identify trusted adults: Encourage children to identify trusted adults they can talk to if they experience abuse or discomfort.
4. Listen and believe: Create a safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable sharing their experiences.
