🚨 QUELQUE CHOSE D'IMPORTANT SE PRÉPARE... 🚨

VOHOF Celebrates National Menstrual Hygiene Day 🌸

Today, we join the global community in raising awareness on the importance of menstrual health, dignity, and empowerment for girls and women everywhere.

At VOHOF, we believe that menstruation should never be a barrier to education, confidence, or opportunity. Through awareness, support, and advocacy, we continue to promote a world where every girl can manage her period safely and with dignity.

Let us break the silence, end the stigma, and create supportive environments for all. 💕

WE ARE BACK AND STILL BUILDING HOPE.

2025 was a meaningful year for us at Voice of Hope Foundation (VOHOF).

We had the opportunity to work with children, students and communities across different parts of Cameroon, and we are truly grateful for the impact we were able to make together.

On World Mental Health Day, we organized a mental health counselling and sensitization session at Ngamga et Frère Bilingual College in Loum. Over 100 students, internally displaced children and teachers took part in discussions on emotional wellbeing, resilience and peer support under the theme “Healthy Minds, Bright Futures.”

It was a powerful moment for everyone involved.

We also distributed shoes to internally displaced children affected by the Anglophone crisis. It may seem simple, but for those children, it meant comfort, dignity and encouragement to keep moving forward.

In September, we carried out Back-to-School campaigns in Bwadibo (Dibombari), Maroua and at Life Anglo-Saxon College (LASCO). Through these activities, we provided school materials, mentorship sessions, and sensitization on gender-based violence and drug abuse. We also supported children with special needs and other vulnerable groups.

Seeing the smiles on their faces reminded us why we started.

None of this would have been possible without our volunteers, partners, school administrators, traditional authorities and sponsors who stood by us.

As we move forward, we remain committed to promoting mental wellness, education, and social inclusion across Cameroon.

We are just getting started.
What areas would you like to see VOHOF focus on this year?

A Heartfelt Thank You from VOHOF

As we reflect on the year 2025, the Voice of Hope Foundation (VOHOF) extends its deepest gratitude to our partners, supporters, followers, and volunteers who stood with us throughout the year.

Your financial, moral, social, and technical support made it possible for VOHOF to remain a true voice of hope for the voiceless (vulnerable children, women, internally displaced persons) and underserved communities across Cameroon.

Every engagement, donation, message of encouragement, and act of solidarity strengthened our mission to empower lives and inspire hope. Together, we have shown that compassion, collaboration, and commitment can create lasting impact.

As we look ahead, we count on your continued partnership to build a more inclusive, just, and hopeful future. 🌍💙

Thank you for being the Voice of Hope.

🧡 16 Days of Activism Against GBV World AIDS Day 2025?

Gender-Based Violence is not just a physical violation, it leaves deep mental, emotional, and psychological scars that many survivors carry silently for years. As we mark the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV and prepare for World AIDS Day, we are reminded that violence increases vulnerability to HIV infection, depression, anxiety, trauma, and social isolation.

At VOHOF we advocate for:
🔸 Safe spaces for survivors
🔸 Mental health support and healing
🔸 Community awareness to break the cycle of silence
🔸 HIV stigma-free services

Our mission is to empower survivors, strengthen resilience, and champion a society where every woman, girl, and vulnerable person lives free from fear, violence, and discrimination.

Let’s raise our voices, protect our communities, and stand for dignity and justice.
