Today17 th June is "World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought." In a joint action carried out by AFD BLFDC, CESOQUAR, ARDIC and SHUMAS , we planted 108 trees in the Mayel Ibe locality in Maroua II, which is seriously affected by desertification and drought/
Aujourd'hui 17 juin est la "Journée mondiale de lutte contre la désertification et la sécheresse". Dans une action conjointe menée par l'AFD BLFDC, le CESOQUAR, l'ARDIC et le SHUMANS, nous avons planté 108 arbres dans la localité de Mayel Ibe à Maroua II, gravement touchée par la désertification et la sécheresse.

"Albinism is a genetic condition inherited from both parents that occurs worldwide, regardless of ethnicity or gender.
The common lack of melanin pigment in the hair, skin and eyes of people with albinism causes vulnerability to sun exposure, which can lead to skin cancer and severe visual impairment.
As many as 1 in 5,000 people in Sub-Saharan Africa and 1 in 20,000 people in Europe and North America have albinism.
In some countries people with albinism suffer discrimination, poverty, stigma, violence and even killings.
In some countries, women who give birth to children with albinism are repudiated by their husbands, and their children abandoned or the victims of infanticide..."(source OHCHR)
Participate in the campaign to promote the rights of albinos worldwide.
Our organisation joined the Albinos community in the far north region of Cameroon to celebrate the international Albinism awareness Day, yesterday 13th June 2023.
