2 Timothy 4:1,7-8 NLT
I solemnly urge you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus, who will someday judge the living and the dead when he comes to set up his Kingdom: [7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. [8] And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.

There is a common phrase that many use these days saying *thou shall not judge*. I totally understand it but the interesting thing is that, if we your fellow humans cannot judge your actions, manner of service, attitude and character for you to take corrections here on earth and keep your , while we await the coming of Jesus, know that there is a greater judge who will judge both the living and the death.
If you cannot fear man's judgment, what about God?.

Everything we are doing here on earth is to hear Him say *Good and Faithful Servant*. Matt. 25:23. We want to spend eternity with Him but we don't want His ways and His rules. Apostle says there is a crown of glory awaiting all of us, but before the crown comes the judgement of God. If you stand before God today, will you be found guilty? Or will you be in right standing with Him?

If you cannot fear man who can kill your body but not your soul, then you should fear God who owns both your body and your soul and who is our Father, judge and rewarder whocan kilk the body and soul.
Live your life to please Him not offend Him. His ways are not our ways. If we must please Him, we must do it His way.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 NLT
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. [17] God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

There is no other book on earth that gives you a more balanced life like the Bible. The teachings and lessons from it cut across generations. It applies to everyone at every given situation. It is by knowing the Scriptures that these following things will happen to you.

1. You will Know the truth. The Scriptures will teach you the truth about God, the earth, yourself and others. The truth you know makes you better. The right knowledge brings freedom.
2. It shows you what you have done wrong and also helps you correct it. The good thing about knowing the Scriptures is that when you go wrong, it will show you the right way to take because it uses the examples of others to teach you.
3. The Scriptures correct us. If you don't see anything wrong with what you are doing how will you need correction? If you don't even trust your teachers, how will you listen to them?.
●It is only people who are humble that take correction. Those who are proud take offense everytime they are corrected.
4. The Scriptures build you up.
Acts 20:32 NLT
"And now I entrust you to God and the message of his grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself.

All the stories we read in the Bible are there as examples for us to live better lives. The Scriptures help to build your faith in God, build your prayer life and go as much as to teach you how to relate with others.
Your true identity is found in His word. Without God's word in you, you will be a very weak and vulnerable Christian who can be easily deceived by wrong doctrines and false teachers.

For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs.

God wants us to have everything we need because He is a good Father who knows exactly what we need. Life in Jesus is a life full of enjoyment because it is our Father who created *Everything* and the earth belongs to Him. Psalms 24: 1.
Our enjoyment is cut short when we put our hopes on things He created instead of Him our creator, like money. Apostle tells us not to love money because it will lead us into evil. It has the power to make us proud, arrogant, greedy, selfish etc because money is a god on his own. Yes it can give you a good life, buy you all that you want, but the life is void of the peace of God, the leadership of the Holy Spirit, which will easily lead us into trouble.
The advice here is that you love God, trust God, Serve God not money and every other thing that is in God or belongs to God will be added to you. I mean all things. Matthew 6:33

As a child of God and a GG, we don't do any trade because we want money, we dont get into any career with money as our focus, we don't do business because we want money, we are here to serve God with our gifts, our talents using our money and our good Father will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. Phil. 4:19

When you love God, money will serve you. When you love money, the devil will control you. Money should be your servant not your master. God wants you to enjoy, and the real enjoyment is with Him leading us. Enjoy your money with God. Use your money to serve God's purpose.

1 Timothy 5:1-2 NLT
Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him respectfully as you would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own brothers. [2] Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters.

It has become very common in this generation for children to lift their voices and speak rudely and harshly to Elders not to talk of their age mates. The Bible is asking us to show respect to elders, not just to your parents or guardians but to everyone older than you. In our Christian community we don't practice *Respect is reciprocal* because respect comes from the place of love and honour. When you love someone you will respect and honour their opinions, feelings, view pointsetc. There is no conditional respect for us. The Bible teaches that we ought to respect others, not because they’ve earned it, but because God respects each one of us and commands us to do the same. It is our responsibility to show respect to people not just elders but equally to one another not because they have earned it, but becsuse they are all made in the image of God. *Every human being has something in them that demands for our respect.

Anyone who doesn't respect others in my opinion is a proud person. Respect is a sign of humility and maturity. If you are waiting for people to respect you before you show them respect you may live a very miserable life because some people will never respect you. It is for your own peace of mind to respect people and move on.

Show respect for all men [treat them honorably]. Love the brotherhood (the Christian fraternity of which Christ is the Head). Reverence God. Honor the emperor.

Romans 12:10 Voice
Live in true devotion to one another, loving each other as sisters and brothers. Be first to honor others by putting them first.
