People Empowering People (PEP) Africa is an international initiative which actively involves young people and empowers them with skills and tools needed to create POSITIVE change in communities. PEP-Africa was founded in 2000 by Melvine Lynwe Wajiri and Nganji Gilles Ndokong, who are two well known Youth leaders with extensive knowledge in Youth development in Cameroon. The concept PEP was e

stablished to lead and respond to the needs of young people from adolescence to adulthood and to make an important contribution to the acquisition of competences through non-formal learning as well as the promotion of youth's active participation, active engagement, social inclusion and solidarity in society. In 2003, PEP was accredited in Cameroon as a, non-governmental, public charity and apolitical organization that works with commitment for the development of undeserved society , irrespective of gender, creed, class, colour, sexual orientation and ethnicity.
