🌍 Leading the Change: SofTouch Foundation at Earth Action Forum 2026

We are back from an incredible two days at the Earth Action Forum 2026 in Buea! Hosted by ASCOA, this workshop was a powerhouse of insight, networking, and strategy for a greener Cameroon.

At SofTouch Foundation, we believe in action. This forum sharpened our tools in:

Waste Data Collection – Turning numbers into impact.

Safety in Cleanup Programs – Protecting our volunteers while we protect the earth.

Ecosystem Biodiversity – Understanding the delicate balance of our local environment.

The energy was unmatched, We were deeply inspired by speakers like Madam Ewube Kelly of One Green Africa, who reminded us that environmental stewardship isn't just a choice,it’s a call to be action-oriented leaders.

A major highlight was our productive dialogue with the representative of the Delegate of Environment, Wildlife Protection, and Nature, as well as the warm welcome from the ASCOA President.

Armed with a fresh network of community leaders and specialized knowledge, the SofTouch Foundation is ready to launch even more impactful sustainability programs. The future is green, and we’re just getting started.

A massive thank you to the Association for community awareness-ASCOA for fostering this collaboration. Together, we are better.

Creating impact and living lasting memories in the minds of the community.

SofTouch Foundation once again demonstrated its commitments to fostering living together and creating impactful memories with the population it serves. This comes on the heels of a free haircut outreach program our Foundation gave to the Residents of the limbe Camp in Fako Division, South west Region.

The Kind gesture was carried out under the banner of the UPLIFTCUT.

Aside the free haircut given to the inhabitants of the area, we also donated didactic materials to our school returning brothers and sisters at the camp.

It was a privilege for the Founder of SoFTouch Foundation Alexis Njei to share with interns and guests his journey from high school to a so much positively talked-about entrepreneur in the beauty industry. This discourse came as a stitch in time to those who believed success in Life solely depends on acquiring white collar jobs.
To the interns and all present, Alexis Njei encouraged them to remain focused in whatever they do and to make full use of S.M.A.R.T tools for Navigation.
The event was an initiative of the General Manager of the Presbyterian Printing Press Dr. NTOKO HENRY.
SofTouch Foundation through its Chief Executive Officer promised to accompany these interns through the journey of becoming great entrepreneurs.

We are delighted to share with you some amazing captures from the end of our one Month intense training program on dreadlocks maintenance and salon ethics in partnership with The African Enterprising Woman. The aim of this program was to empower rural women by providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of hairdressing, specifically in the area of dreadlocks maintenance.

During the training, the participants learned various techniques and styles for maintaining and styling dreadlocks. They had the opportunity to showcase their individual styles on practical dolls and on their fellow trainee's hair, allowing them to practice and demonstrate their newly acquired skills.

The SofTouch Foundation's intense training program on dreadlocks maintenance and salon ethics in partnership with The African Enterprising Woman has provided rural women with valuable skills and knowledge in the field of hairdressing. By empowering these women, the program contributes to their personal and professional growth, as well as the development of their communities. The certificates awarded at the end of the training recognize the participants' dedication and commitment to learning and improving their skills in the field of dreadlocks maintenance.

We are thrilled to share with you the photos of the commencement of our first session of an intense Master Class Training in Saloon Ethics/Hygiene and Dreadlocks Making in collaboration with ThThe African Enterprising WomanfThe African Enterprising WomannThe African Enterprising WomanoThe African Enterprising WomanThis intensive training program aims to empower and equip aspiring women entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to thrive in their Saloon businesses. We believe that by investing in women's entrepreneurship, we can create a positive impact not only in their lives but also in their communities.

During this first session, our esteemed trainers learned various topics essential for a Saloon business, this includes:

SofTouch Foundation's Outreach with SAVORRI: Free Haircuts, Gifts and Food Donations in Yagoua Locality Far North Region.

SofTouch Foundation recently carried out an outreach program on the 31st of March in the far North Region with SAVORRI .This took place in 3 communities in the Yagoua Locality, that's is Polgé, Dom-pya and Baddougu.This initiative aimed to bring joy, boost confidence, and provide support to the individuals who benefited.

The foundation collaborated with local Barbers who generously volunteered their time and skills to provide these services.We shared techniques on how to enhance their work and also increase working hygiene.We also donated free hair clippers to all the Barbers that took part in the program.

In addition to the free haircuts, SofTouch Foundation also donated gifts to the recipients.Such as Dresses for kids and Food stuffs .The intention behind these donations was to bring smiles and make a positive impact on the lives of the individuals involved.

We want to give a big thanks to the Parrish priests of Pariosse Saint Esprit de Gobo, Diocese de Yagoua. Fr. Francis Tche and Fr. Elias Fali who hosted us and facilitated our movement within the Localities.
