PEACE BUILDING IN CAMEROON 🕊️

MmeNgangnjoh Maimuna Honored to have served as a panelist on Day 3 of the Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa (CHRDA) Panel Discussion on Peace Building in Cameroon, held at the CHRDA Conference Hall.
As Country Director of Let's Do It Cameroon, It was a privilege to bring the lens of environmental justice into the peacebuilding conversation exploring how the fight for a united, peaceful Cameroon cannot be separated from the fight for a healthy, sustainable environment. From waste management to resource conflicts, environmental degradation and climate stress are increasingly at the root of tension in our communities. Building lasting peace means building environmental justice alongside it — ensuring equitable access to resources, empowering youth and women as environmental stewards, and embedding sustainability into how we imagine a united Cameroon.
Grateful to CHRDA inafrica righfor creating this space for dialogue, and to fellow panelists Mr. Bochum Samuel, Mr. Agbor Desmond, Mr. Koggerson Billy, Mr. Kunu Joel, and Mrs. Elsie Fonyi for such a rich and thought-provoking exchange.

Together for a peaceful, united, and prosperous Cameroon. 🇨?Green InitiativesiWorld Cleanup Day Let's Do It CameroonrUnited NationsioEarthDay.org.Ngangnjoh Maimunamuna

DAYS AGO...HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY...
In commemoration of International Youth Day, Let's Do It Cameroon proudly joined the Ministère de la Jeunesse et de l'Education Civique 237 (MINJEC) for the National Capacity-Building Workshop for Associative Movement Leaders "Le PRONEC-RÉAMORCE: renforcer le leadership des jeunes pour la consolidation de la paix, l'utilisation responsable des réseaux sociaux et la prévention de l'extrémisme violent."
Held on 10th–11th August 2026 at the Salle de Presse, Stade Omnisports Yaoundé, this two-day workshop brought together 50 youth associations under the theme "Different Contexts, Common Aspirations" equipping young leaders on the creation of associations, their rights and legal frameworks, leadership, resource mobilization, national youth policy, and responsible digital citizenship.
It was a true honor to have our Country Director personally represent us in this important gathering, contributing to the conversation on youth leadership, peacebuilding, and civic responsibility in Cameroon.
Heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education (MINJEC) for this opportunity to engage, learn, and grow alongside fellow young leaders shaping the future of our associative movement. 🙏
Happy Youth Day once more to all young Cameroonians building a better tomorrow! 🇨🇲💚
