A Heart-to-Heart With Emily ❤️

People often ask me, “Emily, why did you start Girls Talk?”

The answer is simple…

Because I know what it feels like to need someone who understands.

My journey hasn’t been perfect. I’ve had moments of uncertainty, moments where I questioned myself, and moments where I simply needed encouragement. But through it all, God kept reminding me that every challenge can become a testimony when you allow Him to lead.

That’s why I started Girls Talk.

Not because I have all the answers.

But because I believe no girl should have to navigate womanhood alone.

My vision is to build a community where every young woman feels seen, heard, valued, and empowered a place where we can grow in faith, become confident in who God created us to be, learn about our health, relationships, purpose, and support one another without fear of judgment.

I dream of seeing Girls Talk become more than a WhatsApp community. I see a movement that reaches schools, churches, communities, and nations, reminding young women that they are enough, they are chosen, and they are deeply loved by God.

So if you’ve ever felt lost, overlooked, afraid, or like you’re carrying life’s weight by yourself, I want you to hear this:

You belong here.

You don’t have to pretend you’re okay.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

This is a safe space where we’ll learn together, pray together, heal together, laugh together, and grow together.

Because becoming the woman God created you to be isn’t a journey you have to walk alone.
