These attributes position the country as a pivotal player in bridging gaps in financial services and expanding across the African market.
Among notable fintech investors already engaged in Cameroon are Visa, Mercy Corps, Anthemis, Fuze, Digital Africa, Lundin Groups, and Lake Partners. Furthermore, the Cameroonian government, through its Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, along with the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), have launched significant support programs for the fintech sector.
