HSI organized a football and a sensization outreach program with the young men and women in Lisoka village Buea south west Region of Cameroon to commemorate the 16days activism under the theme INVEST TO END GENDER BASE VIOLENCE which was characterized by a debate on the topic “between men and women who are perpetrators of violence “in our communities. This project was carried out in partnership with Favour low cost health care foundation and the women empowerment center of Buea south west Region .

This lovely woman in the picture is Frida, a single mother with 4 kid’s, she lives in Wotutu village in Limbe south west Region of Cameroon .

paid for her hospital bills because she could not afford it . Donated some maternity kits to both mother and child donated food stuffs to her and also some money was giving to her to help her start a business so that she could be economically empowered for sustainability.

We thank everyone who joined us to support this cause and help Frida. May God bless you all🙏🏽

"Let's Lead, We Can" was successfully implemented by the Her Strength Initiative in collaboration with the Municipal Youth Councilors of Tiko Municipality.

This initiative aimed to empower and inspire young students in Tiko through a series of educational activities focused on civic participation, volunteerism, and the leadership potential of girls.

Several schools actively participated in the project, including GHS Motombolombo, Stamotec, Fetcom, and Dunamis. The project targeted students from both lower sixth and form four classes, ensuring a wide reach and impact across different age groups. The entire event spanned over two days within these schools, during which the students received comprehensive education on the significance of civic engagement, the value of volunteer work, and the importance of fostering leadership skills in young girls.
