CWF RECOM MEETING 2026

Officials of the Women's Work Department in the North West Region and presbytery delegates of the Christian Women Fellowship (CWF) Movement took part in the Regional Committee Meeting (RECOM) of the movement on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Discussions during the meeting focused on the report presented by the Regional Secretary for Women's Work in the North West Region, which highlighted activities carried out by the various presbyteries from July 2025 to June 2026.

Another report that attracted the attention of participants was the financial statement detailing contributions received and expenditures made by the regional office from July 2025 to June 2026.

According to the National Secretary for the Women's Work Department of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon (PCC), CWF members are remaining committed to the responsibilities and obligations of the department.

However, she expressed concern over the poor attitude of some members towards official duties at the national level, as well as the decline in membership in some presbyteries.

Deliberations at the Regional Committee Meeting ended at 9:30 p.m., with key recommendations adopted for presentation at the upcoming National Committee Meeting.

Over twenty members of the Christian Women Fellowship (CWF) Batch of "Exodus" PC Bonaberi, Mungo Presbytery, have offered thanksgiving to God for being their source of strength and comfort after many years. This was in the course of Sunday June 14 divine service on the church premises, which also marked the homecoming of two assistant pastors.

The CWF members, 74 in number, were admitted into the movement on May 21st, 2006, and became the first batch in the present church structure after the longest carrabot building of the former church was demolished.
