FAPS Development Organization Stands Against Digital Violence!
We proudly participated in the 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence, focusing on the theme "Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women and Girls." Our primary target "The youth, especially young girls in GHS Bomaka and Islamic Technical Secondary School, Mile 18", Buea, South West Region of Cameroon.
What is Digital Violence?
Digital violence encompasses harmful acts inflicted through digital technologies, predominantly targeting women and girls. This includes harassment, cyberbullying, stalking, and exploitation on social media, messaging apps, and various online platforms.

- Image-Based Sexual Abuse

Victims of digital violence often suffer significant psychological and emotional harm, leading to anxiety, depression, and fear.
