A girl misses school every month, not because she is sick, but because she is menstruating.

Through Hope Spring for All Nations at GS Great Soppo, we marked World Menstrual Hygiene Day with 30+ girls, distributing sanitary pads and creating a safe space for open dialogue.

What stood out most was the stigma, many girls felt ashamed, and some boys mocked them.

This is a reminder: menstrual hygiene is about dignity, education, and breaking stigma, not just products.

No girl should miss school because of her period.

For years, children at GS Great Soppo carried dreams into classrooms where there was no water.

They studied through the heat.
They shared the little they had.
They kept showing up.

But no child should have to learn without something so basic, so essential, so human.

So the community came together.
Hope Spring for All Nations (HSFAN), partners, and supporters chose to change the story.

And today, for the first time since the creation of GS Great Soppo, water flows in the school.

More than 300 girls and hundreds of pupils now have access to a healthier and more dignified learning environment.

Sometimes transformation does not begin with something big.
Sometimes it begins with a single drop of clean water.

This is not just a project.
This is history for GS Great Soppo.
