Red Card to Child Labour, Fair Play for Children, Decent Work for Adults.

Together let's fight against Child Labour 😤

12/06/2026

🟥 🟥 RED CARD TO !

occurs when children are forced or compelled to engage in work during the hours they should be in school, learning, playing, and developing in a safe environment. This practice deprives children of their fundamental rights, limits their educational opportunities, and places their health, well-being, and future at risk. Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and reach their full potential free from exploitation.

takes many forms. Some children are seen selling goods in markets and on the streets, while others work on farms, in workshops, in domestic service, in small businesses, or perform other forms of labour that are harmful to their development and education.

On this , ZEFF joins the global movement to show a and to advocate for a future where every child is protected, educated, and empowered. We also recognize that adults should have access to and fair wages so that children are not forced to work to support their families. Strong families and sustainable livelihoods are essential to ending and securing a brighter future for all children.

Protecting children is a collective responsibility. Parents, teachers, religious leaders, community leaders, traders, and all community members have a role to play in identifying and reporting cases of and . By speaking up, we can help vulnerable children return to school and enjoy the safe and nurturing childhood they deserve.

🟥 Show the Red Card.📚 , Not Exploitation.💼 for Adults.🤝 , Report, Support.

Together, let us build communities where every child is free to learn, dream, grow, and thrive.

Over 150 Young Entrepreneurs. One Mission. Total Impact! 🌟

On Friday, February 13, 2026, ZEFA took over the MINEPAT conference hall for the second cohort of our Youth Empowerment program! We gathered over 150 young entrepreneurs of Buea, Limbe, and Tiko, aged 18–35, to master the art of Strategic Business Planning and Concept Design.

This is to prepare them for future entrepreneurial opportunities

🚪 With the recent launch of the Business Plan Competition Program of the Adaptive Safety Net and Economic Inclusion Project, the Cameroon government, through the World Bank, is offering non-refundable grants to boost sectors like: Agribusiness, Digital & Technology, Textile & Clothing, Leather, Construction, Woodworks, Metal & Steel, and Pharmaceuticals ..., operating both in the formal and informal sectors. ZEFA is here to ensure that our young entrepreneurs don't just apply, they WIN.

We invited Experts in the field to train these Entrepreneurs on different topics:

✅Dr. Asaah Gladys, The Director of Pan African Institute for Development West Africa (PAID-WA) handled the Intensive training on writing Winning Business Plans.
✅Dr.Andin Ntali, an environmentalist in the University of Buea trained on Learning to build "Green Businesses" that protect our environment.
✅Miss Ebai Blanche, the founder of GWI and a professional Speaker, trained on Pitching Techniques and Presentation skills.
✅️Mr. Anu Bryan Nkwetta , C.E.O of ZeeGo Company, trained on structuring a Compelling Concept Note that would suffice donor expectations.
✅️Mr. Fongoh Tayong, the Founder of Tech Chantier shared a talk of his entrepreneurial journey on the topic "5 Silent Killers that Destroyed My First Business."

Afterwards, a practical role play session took place and this gave participants the room to practice what they had learnt , share their business ideas and also network with one another. The conference ended on high note with participants feeling grateful and ready to take on Business challenges.

A big thank you to all facilitators of the program and to the Host and founder of Zotah Elizabeth Fussongu Foundation, Mr Nkengfac Louis.
