The next pandemic isn’t waiting in a faraway jungle. It is quietly growing in our hospitals, our soils, and our farms right now.
We often think of global health threats as sudden, dramatic outbreaks. But Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is a silent, slow-motion tsunami. Right now, everyday bacteria are adapting, changing, and learning how to defeat the very medicines we rely on to survive.

This isn't just a medical problem. It is the ultimate One Health challenge.
Why? Because bacteria don't recognize our boundaries. A resistant superbug doesn't care if it's in a human clinic, mutating on a poultry farm, or multiplying in a river downstream from agricultural run-off. What happens in our food systems and our environment directly dictates the survival of patients in our hospitals.

Following the launch of the **Community OneHealth Initiative (COMOHIN)**, we are officially kicking off our AMR Stewardship and Advocacy track. Over the coming weeks, we will be breaking down the silos between the laboratory, the farm, and the community to bring you actionable solutions.
If we protect our environment and farm sustainably, we protect human lives. It's all connected.
