*TWN BUEA DEVOTION (Friday,15th May 2026)*

*TOPIC*: _FAITH AND THE WORD_

*SCRIPTURE*: But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Romans 10:8

It has been confirmed that the principal key that opens the door to the world of faith is light from Scripture—the Word of God. The Word of God is the Word of faith. Romans 10:17 makes it clear that …faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Acts 6:7 says, And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

So, anywhere the Word explodes, faith explodes.

1 Thessalonians 1:8 says, For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad…

Because the Word of God sounded, faith also spread. So, there is an inextricable relationship between faith and the Word.

Hebrews 11:3 reveals that Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

No wonder, lighted people are faith-filled people. So, the Word of God is the raw material for faith.

Now, how do we access Light?

Access the light from Scripture through the study of the Word, meditation, listening to messages and reading anointed books.
Let me show you an example of light. One woman came to Jesus seeking her daughter’s deliverance, and Jesus said to her in Mathew 15:26 … It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. The woman was looking for healing, not bread, and Jesus said, “It is not good to give the children’s bread to dogs.” So, it is established as a fact that healing is children’s bread, that is, bread of the children of God. Also, in Matthew 6:11, Jesus said, “When you pray, ask me to give you daily bread.” So, you are entitled to good health daily.

Beloved, one thing about the Word of God is that when fresh light comes upon you, it knocks off the darkness. He sent forth His Word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction (Psalm 107:20).

*REMEMBER THIS:* There is an inextricable relationship between faith and the Word.

*ASSIGNMENT(S):*
Arm yourself with the light from the Scripture
Access the light from Scripture through the study of the Word, meditation, listening to messages and reading anointed books.

*PRAYER:* Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. Baptize me with the discipline to stay on the Word, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TREASURED DAUGHTERS MORNING DEVOTIONAL

Topic: *BREAD OF HEAVEN*
Scripture: JOHN 6:31-35

It is probable that these Jews were expecting Jesus to rain down manna on them the way God did before in the wilderness. After all, anyone who could feed five thousand men with one small lunch should be able to produce manna. They were still thinking of physical food.

The word "manna" means literally "what is it?" The children of Israel said, "It is manna: for they wist (or knew) not what it was." (Ex. 16:15) Manna was a nutritious food which appeared on the ground every morning shortly after the children of Israel left Egypt and began their 40-year wandering in the wilderness. Moses called it "bread which the Lord hath given you to eat."

The Lord, in speaking to Moses, called it "bread from heaven." It was small and round, like coriander seed, and was white in color or yellowish, like bdellium. The people, after gathering it, ground it in mills or beat it in a mortar, baked it in pans and made cakes of it. It tasted like wafers made with honey or fresh oil. It was gathered every morning and had to be used up that day or it would stink and have worms. An exception was on the sixth day. It could be gathered for the Sabbath and wouldn't spoil (Ex. 16:22-26).

Although they were looking for pieces of bread to materialize, which would have been a great miracle, it would have been insignificant compared to the miracle of God being manifested in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16). They were talking to the greatest miracle that God had ever performed, but they were blind to it. Many times, we get so intent on seeking God in one area that we forget the greatest miracle of all, which is the love and redemption given to us from God through His Son.

Recognizing Jesus in our Midst 👍👍

Mary Magdalene was distraught when she found the tomb of Jesus empty, she wept unable to comprehend what had happened to the body of her beloved Lord. Jesus appeared to her, but she didn't recognized him

This moment speaks to the reality of our Lifes, We may encountered Jesus in our every day lifes but be unaware of His presence
We may look for Him in grand gesture or thunderous miracles, whereas He is often found in simple moments of our life

At times you maybe a feeling of lost and uncertainty praying and asking God for guidance and to show you the way and you will notice that by just looking at the trees the birds the clouds and appreciating God for his Creation you will feel a Sense of peace and comfort that could only comes from God and at that moment you will realize that Jesus is there with you guiding you towards the path He had planned for you🌷🌷TW it is easy to miss Jesus in our midst especially when we're proccopied with the worries and cares of this world
But when we stop and take notice of the beauty around us, we can experience the presence of God through the laughter of a child, the kindness of a stranger, or the majesty of nature, God, s love surrounds us

🌷As TW we must strive to recognize Jesus in our midst, even in the most unexpected places. It requires openness to the leading of the Holy spirit and a willingness to step out side of our confort Zones. And when we do we will experience a deeper connection to christ and a renewed sense of purpose and meaning in our lifes

Thanksgiving 🌸
Father l thank you for your grace which makes me to realize your over whelming presence in our midst

Prayer 🌸🌸
Loving God help us as TW to recognize you in our midst
May we have eyes to see the beauty of your Creation and ears to hear your voice speaking to us
May we be open to the leading holy Spirit willing to step out in faith and explore the paths you have set before us. Thank you for being with us always even in the most ordinary Moments of our lifes. In Jesus name Amen 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

*Topic* A Mother’s Influence.

Pray that God would help you see opportunities to invest in young hearts and point them toward Christ.

*TEXT* Proverbs 22:6

If someone asked us to name the greatest and most influential people, we’d probably think of presidents or leaders of industry because their decisions shape the world. But who shaped them? It’s likely their mothers played a key role in their success.

When a woman is in the process of changing diapers, wiping noses, and settling squabbles, raising children may not seem like important work. However, God has given mothers the responsibility of shaping those young lives and teaching the importance of knowing and loving Him. Timothy is an example of how women can impact the faith of the next generation (2 Timothy 1:5).

If you’re a mom, you have tremendous influence in the lives of your children. There’s no way to know how God will use them in the future. But whatever His plans may be, you can equip your sons and daughters by determining to spend time with them each day, reading and teaching them God’s Word.

Perhaps you don’t have children or your children are grown. You can still have an impact! Look for those to whom you can be a spiritual parent, teaching and loving them as Christ did. When they see you modelling godly character or trusting the Lord in the midst of trials, they will want to know and love God as you do. That’s a wonderful way to support the next generation.

May the Lord help us in Jesus' name, Amen 🙏🏻

Bible text: Joshua 4:20-24
And those twelve stones which they had taken from the Jordan, Joshua set up in Gilgal. He said to the sons of Israel, when your children ask their fathers in time to come what do these stones mean?then you shall let us your children know Israel crossed this Jordan on dry ground.

Exhortation: JORDAN HAS STEPPING STONES

Jordan can be pains, trials, challenges, difficult moment, persecution, tribulation etc
The best things of life come out of sufferings.

Thought of the day:
Before the flowers can adorn our gardens, the soil must be broken and the weeds pulled.
Before the great statues which attract tourism can be created , the marble must be quarried , sawn and chiselled.
Before the orchestra can send forth it's harmony, the instruments must pass through a process of tuning.
Sometimes, before the body can enjoy good health, a bitter medicine must be applied.
Before the day of graduation, years of study must have passed.

Note these three things about the pain ( Jordan) we may be allowed to pass through in 2026:
1) Jordan (trial) is inevitable
2) Jordan is invaluable ( Profitable)
3) Jordan is not invincible. That means Jordan is not above our God. Note this : Out of Joseph's imprisonment came the preservation of a nation.
Out of John's imprisonment emerged the book of Revelation.
Out of Paul's imprisonment flowed the highest revelation of the scriptures- the prison epistles.
From the book of Romans 8:35-39 it says, who shall ever separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Just as it is written and forever remains written.
For your sake we are put to death all day long we are regarded as sheep for the slaughter ( psalm 44:22).37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us.
That's why we are described as more than conquerors. That means the conquered becomes the conqueror (winner) at last. When a prisoner becomes the master over the prison, he or she is described as more than conqueror ask Joseph. When our tria is turned into a testimony, we are more than conqueror, when that bad circumstance becomes your celebration point , you are more than a conqueror, that will be our description in 2026! The Jews had to step on stones when they crossed Jordan and those stones became their ladders ( stepping stones) to the promised land.Resist tears and refuse to stay in confusion, depression or self pity ! Hold on and hold out 2026 is our year.

Thanksgiving: lord thank you for the grace to hold on in any circumstance this year.

Prayers: In every Jordan, there is a stepping stone. My God, use any trial in my life to promote me at last.
Lord, do for me what you did for Joseph, John and others in Jesus name.
I am more than a conqueror in 2026 O God , turn my life into an evidence of your uncommon grace and mercy this year.
Holy Ghost, turn my tears to a New Song this year in Jesus name.

Topic: *ABOUT HUMILITY*
Scripture: John 6:15

Jesus "was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" (Heb. 4:15). The temptation for Jesus to submit to the crowd and exalt Himself must have been there but He didn't respond to it. He came to do the Father's will and not His own will (Jn. 6:38). He immediately withdrew from everyone and spent all night in prayer with His Father. Prolonged prayer is an antidote for the temptation of pride and will work a God-type of humility in your life.

In Galatians 2:20, Paul is preaching a death to self, but it is very important to notice how this death took place. Paul said he was dead through what Jesus did. He experienced this death by simply reckoning what had already happened through Christ to be so (Rom. 6:11).

There are people today who have taken the "dying to self" doctrine to an extreme and, instead of being free of self, they are totally self-centered. They constantly think of self. It may be in all negative terms, but it is still self-centered. A truly humble person is one who is Christ-centered. Dying to self is not a hatred for self but rather a love of Christ more than self.

There are false religions that preach a denial of self. We need to be not just dead to self, but alive to God. A focus on the denial of self without the enthronement of Christ leads to legalism. True humility is not a debasing of self, or a hatred of self, or our accomplishments. It is simply an awareness that all that we have and are is a gift of God. Therefore, only a person who acknowledges God can operate in true humility.
