As part of our activities for the Free Mental Health Concert Cameroon 2026, we visited Tole, a community in Buea, Southwest Region of Cameroon. 🇨🇲❤️

Our main objective was to create awareness on mental health, break the silence and stigma surrounding mental health, and prevent drug and substance abuse through education and psychosocial support.

This is more than just a campaign—it is a call to speak up, support one another, seek help, and build healthier and more resilient communities.

COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS CAMPAIGN — BAKOKO VILLAGE

As part of the activities of the Free Mental Health Concert Cameroon 2026, we took our community mental health awareness campaign to Bakoko Village for a beautiful day of connection, education, entertainment, and community action.

Working in partnership with Bakoko Arts Village and Contractor’s Helping Foundation, we brought together community members through activities that promoted unity, healthy competition, talent, and awareness.

Beyond the games and entertainment, the heart of the outreach was a simple but powerful message: mental health matters, substance abuse can be prevented, help is available, and no one should have to suffer in silence.
