You will be surprised of how many Cameroonians who have no idea on
1)what Mental Health is
2) where they can get help
3) how to support someone in distress.
4) that recovery is possible.
You will be shocked if you go out to the communities asking what mental health is. We are taking this awareness and solutions to them through this campaign.

Volunteer Pair Introduction Activity

Building collaboration and working effectively as a team requires a free, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Every volunteer and team member should feel at home, valued, and respected. That is why we have adopted this icebreaker activity.

Volunteers will pair up and spend a few minutes getting to know one another. Volunteer A will interview Volunteer B, and Volunteer B will do the same. They can ask about each other's name, background, interests, profession, reason for volunteering, expectations, and a fun fact about themselves.

After the discussion, each volunteer will introduce their partner to the rest of the group instead of introducing themselves. This activity helps participants build connections, improve communication, create a sense of belonging, and strengthen teamwork from the very beginning of the training.
