Today, we shine the spotlight on Emilien Mejuandem, whose consistency and impact in the media space continue to set her apart. While many are still waiting for their moment, she is building, connecting, learning, and putting herself in rooms where important conversations are happening.

And what a moment it was in Kigali, Rwanda 🇷🇼 having the privilege of being in the same space as President Paul Kagame and other African heads of state during a conference focused on resetting the African mindset.

That's more than a trip. That's positioning. That's exposure. That's a young Cameroonian woman expanding her network and taking her impact beyond borders. 🇨🇲🔥

🇨🇲 ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, WOMEN SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DIE TO BE HEARD.

Seven women. Seven lives. Over Seven families left carrying a pain that words cannot describe.
Behind every number was a daughter, a mother, a sister, a friend, a colleague, a human being whose life mattered.

Violence against women cannot continue to be treated as ordinary relationship drama, a private family matter, or another headline that disappears after a few days.

A disagreement is not a death sentence.
A breakup is not a death sentence.
Money is not a death sentence.
Jealousy is not a death sentence.
And no man has the right to decide whether a woman gets to live.

At CIYES, we believe real community development also means building communities where people are safe, respected and protected.
We must speak up. We must educate. We must challenge violent behaviour before it escalates. We must support victims and survivors, and we must demand accountability when lives are taken.
Because empowering communities means protecting the people within them.

🇨🇲 Cameroon, we must do better.
Her life is not yours to take. Her voice deserves to be heard. Her safety is everyone's responsibility. Let's join hands and say no to femicide.

HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE, CAMEROON ARE AFRICAN CHAMPIONS! 🇨🇲🏆

After decades of heartbreak, near misses, and three painful defeats in the final, the wait is finally over.

The Lionesses of Cameroon have conquered Africa, defeating Malawi 3–0 to lift the WAFCON trophy for the first time in the nation’s history.

This is more than a football victory. It is a moment of national pride, resilience and belief. For generations of Cameroonians who watched the Lionesses come close but fall short, tonight represents the reward for years of perseverance.

From the pitch to every home, street and community across the country, this victory belongs to all 30 million Cameroonians. It belongs to the players who fought for every ball, the technical team that believed, the supporters who never stopped dreaming, and everyone who has continued to invest in the growth of women’s football in Cameroon.

It is also a historic night for Samuel Eto’o and FECAFOOT. As FECAFOOT President, Eto’o becomes part of a defining chapter in Cameroonian football history, celebrating a WAFCON triumph under his leadership. His visible emotion at the final whistle reflects the significance of what this achievement means to the country and its football family.

We celebrate Godlove Njisong, trainer, empowerment coach, leadership & management consultant, and founder of GOMAD (Go and Make a Difference), a movement creating spaces for young people and entrepreneurs to build influence, find their voice, and make meaningful impact.

Through GOMAD, mentorship, coaching, and initiatives like Gentleman Protocol, Godlove continues to prove that leadership is not just about personal success, it is about creating people who can make a difference wherever they find themselves.

MICHAELY BIHINA, THE WALL THAT STOOD BETWEEN CAMEROON AND ELIMINATION!

When the pressure was at its highest and Morocco looked dangerously close to taking the game away from Cameroon, Michaely Bihina stepped up. 🇨🇲

First, she produced a crucial save during extra time, keeping the Lionesses alive when every second felt like an eternity. And when the match went to penalties, she became the difference-maker once again, SAVING THREE PENALTIES!

That wasn't just goalkeeping. That was courage, composure and pure determination.

After playing a huge role against Nigeria, Bihina has once again shown that she is becoming a formidable force between the posts for Cameroon. When the Lionesses needed someone to stand tall, she answered the call. 🇨🇲
