This year, we’re planting 50000 trees in Mount Bamboutos, organizing beach clean-ups, running workshops on waste segregation in local schools.

Food security means that all people have access to enough safe and nutritious food at all times. It is an important part of human health, economic growth, and national development. When people have reliable food supplies, they can live healthy and productive lives.

Several factors affect food security. Climate change, drought, floods, poverty, and conflicts can reduce food production and make food expensive. In many developing countries, poor farming methods and lack of storage facilities also lead to food shortages. As the world population continues to grow, the demand for food increases rapidly.

To improve food security, governments and communities must support agriculture by providing farmers with modern tools, quality seeds, fertilizers, and proper training. Irrigation systems, good roads, and storage facilities can help reduce food waste and increase production. In addition, educating people about nutrition and sustainable farming practices is essential.

Planting matters because trees are more than just nature’s beauty; they are life givers. They clean our air, provides shade, support biodiversity, and help combat climate change.

• IoT-Based Sensor Systems: Connected sensors will play a key role in gathering detailed data on soil moisture, temperature, and nutrient content, supporting precise farm management.
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: AI-powered systems will enable predictive insights, helping farmers plan and act based on analyzed patterns and historical performance.
