Charlotte, From Grass Hut to Joy😊

Meet our dear widow Charlotte. For long she sold food in a small grass thatched hut made of dry sticks (see Before photos). No good shelter, but she never gave up.

Hope for Widows Ministries Cameroon came along through her pastor, Panki J Clinton Nkambi and supported her to buy additional food stuff such as rice, oil, beans, cooler, etc. to establish her business in a new decent place. Thank you pastor for your support.

Today her face tells the story — she is very very very happy! In her video testimony she says: "What you have done for me I will never forget. I pray God gives you more power to help other widows."

She has now moved to a better decent place and her restaurant business is thriving!

This is restoration! This is dignity!

A Mother's Heart Cry 💛 - MY CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN SHALL NOT BE WASTED! 🙏🏽

My heart as a mother has been heavy. In these end times, the enemy is after marriages, families, our children and grandchildren.

2 Timothy 3:1-2 says in the last days perilous times shall come and children will be disobedient to parents. We are seeing it - drugs, scamming, gangs, guns, marriages breaking because of domestic violence, children forgetting God and forgetting home.

As a mother and as the vision bearer of Hope for the Widows Ministries Cameroon, God laid a burden in my heart for us to stand in the gap. Ezekiel 22:30 says God sought for a man to stand in the gap. We mothers have decided to stand in that gap for our families.

That is why the women in Hope For The Widows Ministry Cameroon meet monthly online to pray for marriages, families, our children and grandchildren.

This was our September session - MY CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN SHALL NOT BE WASTED. I am sharing it here so other mothers can also pray it over their families. Please pray this daily with me:

1. My children and grandchildren shall know God, love God and serve Him
2. Their marriages shall be settled and stable - no to domestic violence
3. They shall be delivered from drugs, gangs and scamming
4. They shall excel in education and be settled in destiny
5. They shall have jobs, business and promotion
6. They shall be protected from death, bullets, accident and kidnapping
7. We shall have peace with our sons and daughters-in-law
8. Our prodigal children shall return and we shall welcome them with love
9. Their money shall not be wasted - it shall be put to good use
10. From today, they shall remember home and be a blessing

Isaiah 54:13 - And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

Let us keep praying for the next generation. They are our future.

🌾 HOPE RESTORED! MA AGIE'S 7.5 ROOMS RICE FIELD IN NDOP 🌾

This is Ma Agie.

A widow in Ndop, identified by our contact person, Mama Rose Fongabi — CBC Ndop Field Widows Coordinator.

When others had finished preparing their farms and were almost planting, Ma Agie had done nothing. She has dependent children, she was not very strong at the time, she had no labour, no means. She was completely demoralized and hopeless. Her only hope — her 7.5 rooms rice field — was lying fallow.

Hope was gone... until Hope For the Widows Ministries (HWM) & partners came timely!

We do charity, orphans sponsorship and other things, but we PRIORITIZE economic empowerment — helping widows stand on their feet to take care of themselves, their children, serve God and their community well!

So we came alongside her:
We supported her to do the clearing, digging, nursery, transplanting and get fertilizer. She contributed the little she had. Mama Rose supervised so well — sometimes she even assisted Ma Agie in the field herself! God bless you Mama Rose!

And today — LOOK AT THIS! 👇
From bare ground to lush, green, blooming rice — flourishing! This is the present state of Ma Agie's 7.5 rooms! Awesome! 👍🏽

From hopeless to hopeful! From empty to flourishing!

🙏 PRAYER POINT: Join us to pray that her rice will perform well and she will have a good harvest, a good yield, in Jesus name! That this field will indeed sustain her and her children!

MARRIAGE CORNER 💞
Family, we will pause a little from Marriage Corner this evening.

Many of you know I also coordinate Hope for the Widows Ministries. Every widow was once in a marriage, so these two ministries go hand-in-hand.

Allow me to share one testimony from CBC Ndop Field — how God restored dignity to Sister P.

FROM NO CAPITAL TO FULL MINI-MARKET!

In collaboration with Sister P. and her local church, Fountain Baptist Church Ndop, Hope for the Widows Ministries Cameroon was able to establish a small Buy and Sell business in front of her kitchen.

1. BEFORE:
No business, no capital — cooking on the ground, struggling to feed her family.

2. DURING:
A shed was built for her business.

3. AFTER:
Full mini-market! Now stocked with rice, palm oil, onions, tomatoes, beans, garri, salt, spices and other provisions.

This was made possible through our partnership model:
Widow contributed + Church contributed + HWM completed = Sustainable business with dignity restored.

We sincerely appreciate our CBC Ndop Field Widows Coordinator Mrs. Yongabi Rose for good coordination on the field; and Pastor of Fountain Baptist Church, Rev. Chuichumbue Godlove for their contribution to realize this project.

She can now feed her children, pay small bills and serve God comfortably.

MORNING PRAYER 🙏🏽
Peace for Anxious Hearts

Father, thank You for a new day.
This morning I lift up every heart that is anxious and every home that is waiting.
For the parent waiting. For the child waiting. For anyone waiting on news, results, or answers...

Replace our anxiety with Your peace.
Replace our fear with Your faith.
Replace our questions with Your assurance that You are in control.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God will guard your hearts." Philippians 4:6-7

Lord, guard our hearts today. Go before us. Make a way where there seems to be no way.

LORD, SEND HELPERS TO THE WIDOWS IN NEED
Ruth 2:8-9

Father, in the name of Jesus name, I lift up every WIDOW to You this morning.

Lord, I pray for the woman who feels stranded in a foreign land, just like Ruth in Bethlehem.
The one who is tired, working hard, and wondering if anyone sees her.

Father, I ask that YOU SEE HER in the field today.

🙏🏽Send her a Boaz.
🙏🏽Send her people who will protect her.
🙏🏽Send her church sisters who will bring her food.
🙏🏽Send her neighbors who will check on her.
🙏🏽Send her pastors who will pray for her.
🙏🏽Send her friends who will support her.
🙏🏽Send Organizations and helpers like Hope for Widows to lift her up.

🙏🏽Lord, open her eyes to recognize Your help.
🙏🏽Give her a grateful heart to receive it.
🙏🏽Don’t let her isolate. Connect her to Your people.

🙏🏽And Father, as You lift her, make HER a Boaz to another widow.
🙏🏽Use her hands, her food, her word, and her prayer to help someone else who is tired and alone.

🙏🏽Protect her from wrong people.
🙏🏽Supply all her needs through Your people.
🙏🏽Let her know she is not abandoned.

In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

HEALING & DELIVERANCE
Good Morning Lord,

Jesus, You set the captives free.

Today we lift up every person in captivity.
In sickness, in fear, in bo***ge, in the bush, in darkness.

Lord, go there.
Break every chain. Release every life.
Bring those who are lost back home safely.
Bring healing to the hurting. Bring comfort to the grieving.

Restore joy where there has been sorrow.
Restore peace where there has been trouble and confusion.
Let Your light shine in every dark place this week.

We trust You to do what only You can do. In Jesus' name. Amen 🙏🏽
